Hi
Have been reading these posts for a little while but just registered.
I started a couple of months ago with Skycig, which I wasn't that impressed with. The batteries lost their mojo very quickly and seemed to hold less and less charge by the day. Some of the cartridges seemed to be duff in that there was little flavour even when new (a few wouldn't produce anything).
So, I bought a Joytech Nova (?) kit from UKEcig store which, unhelpfully, came with no instructions whatever. I did ring them and email them asking for instructions but got a link to a couple of videos which were not especially helpful.
The kit, which I have been using during work hours only (will get to the point where I give up "proper" cigs) had two clearomisers (?) which I think are CE5 from the pictures on this site. One started tasting a bit rank yesterday so I have changed to the other one. Am I right thinking I can/need to change the bit inside (head?) and if so, how do I know what I need and how does it come out?
Sorry if this sounds daft!
The "juice" I am using, I bought 30ml of 24mg tobacco flavour with it that I haven't started although I did quite like the 10ml of the same. But the one I am using now, "mix H" from No Match seems tastless and I don't get much of a throat hit (I'm, slowly, getting into the language).
Anyone got any recommendations - for what its worth the cigs I smoke are Black JPS so something as close to them as possible would be good.
As I said, sorry if these have been asked and answered, couldn't find it - maybe I am just a bit too noddy at the moment! Thanks for any help.
Steve

Welcome to you Steve. Is this the kit you bought? If so, or one like it then the heads are unlikely to be replaceable . . . I'd suggest getting a couple of iClear16's which are brilliant and being a dual coil will give you an excellent vape on your batteries. There are overseas suppliers of them, but I shouldn't think you'll want to wait if you only have 2 clearos to be going on with. www.vapeescape.co.uk/Vaping-Spares/Clearomisers/Innokin-CE5-IClear16.htmlwww.vapeescape.co.uk/Vaping-Spares/Clearomisers/Innokin-CE5-Spare-Heads.htmlYou could try giving your used clearo a soak in a denture tablet bath or vodka overnight, it may well help revive it a little. Edit to say: Crossed posts with Chrissie, if it is the kit that she has linked to, then the heads are replaceable on both of those. They simply screw in and out, you'll know when they need replacing as you've already found, the taste starts to go a bit ' funky '.

Thank you all, you are friendly aren't you - some other forums I have looked at (not about ecigs) seem to be populated by people who can't wait to have a go at people!
Unless I have that pleasure yet to come - lol.
My kit is the one Chrissie linked to in Reply 1.
There is also another thing with it, which I think is a tank, but which is quite bulky - that came with what I assume are two spare heads.
Have now had a fiddle with the one that I think is now duff and taken it apart, so I can see which bit screws off - title of threat confirmed - dimwit, I had been trying with tweezers to unscrew it from the inside the base - not surprised it didn't work.
DJ - have you found anything that tastes like JPS - I don't think that many people smoke them, so I guess there might not be a liquid that mimics them?
Just need to work out how to stop smoking in the evenings now!
Thanks again everyone for being so welcoming.
Steve

Hi and welcome The only tobacco flavours I have tried that I liked were from T-juice, especially their cigar type flavours. t-juice.com/t-juice-shop.htmlI'll tell you now that trying to replicate a particular brand of cigarettes is a loosing battle. I know it make sense to try, but it doesn't really work like that. Tbh I think the only reason they name flavours after branded cigs is to get people to buy them (and then wish they hadn't). Vaping doesn't taste like smoking. Once you are totally off the cigs for a few weeks, you start to be relieved it doesn't The other problem with choosing a juice, is that everyones taste buds pick up on and like different things. One persons bliss is another persons . Most vapers end up on the non tobacco flavours, don't get stuck in a box. Vaping is not smoking. It takes a while to get used to the idea, but once you do the world is your oyster I also recommend the iClear16s btw, they may look like what you have already, but they are a very definite improvement in both reliability and vaping experience.

The best advice I can give you is don't try to match your cigarette flavour, find a juice/juices that you like. buy small bottles to experiment. don't be afraid to try flavours you are not certain about like menthols and mints etc as they will give a good throat hit.
Get a couple of different flavours to break the monotony of vaping 1 flavour.
Try fruits, dessert flavours and sweet flavours too.
Most of all good luck and enjoy the experience !

Hello stevels, welcome to the madhouse! I can't really add to what's already been said, sound advice all. It can be daunting and a steep learning curve but it's worth it. Enjoy the ride

Hello & welcome to the forum, Steve. As Balllsy above posted, experiment with flavours & don't be afraid to try sweet/fruit flavours. They may sound odd, but they are rather good & in fact, lots of folk don't go near tobacco flavours. I don't, first lot of juice was B&H, not had any baccy flavours since. You've made a start, have fun experimenting & enjoy your vaping journey.

stevels to the best ecig forum on t'interweb. Joining this forum is probably the best "next step" you will ever make in your vaping life. As others have said don't be shy about asking advice ... we have all been there at some stage. The only dumb question is the one you don't ask. I'm sorry I can't help with your quest for a shop bought tobacco flavoured juice as I mix all my own juice these days ... I do however remember that I found Grizwalds Golden Burginia very good when I first started ... available here: www.vapeescape.co.uk/Grizwalds-Gourmet-Liquids/Gourmet-Tobaccos/Golden-Burginia.html
