keef, what I would love to know is where Trog got his 4075/901 atties from. back in December 08. The 2 I got with my first SD kit where the best atties I've ever had. They had a much larger circumference raised bit on the battery end than any others I've seen.

Chrissie, you know I only ever wish you well, but I'm so relieved you've come across a bad batch of TW atties - I took some stick* when I reported my bad batch on ECF. *Well, that's exaggerating a bit Last night I ordered a couple of atties from Lisa @ £5.25, she doesn't have discount codes but you could hardly expect her to sell them or her juice any cheaper, she's gotta live scylla

Thanks ever so much fir that Keef, I'll check them out.
Got to admit i thought of your experience Scylla, each time I fished out a new attie from the pack.
Jaki, do you mean add it to the post in the pinned threads? If so, I'm fairly certain the VS code is in the link/list from the ECF master list.
Off to check......
....... Oops apologies Jaki, it wasn't on either list but I've added it to the top of both posts in the pinned threads now.

Not really Nana unless you have something like a voltage meter. But even that wouldn't tell you how long they will last.

Just to say that I have tried each atomiser and battery and all are working fine - phew ! (in more ways than one...... ) So very good service from Totally Wicked - ordered yesterday, delivered this morning. And thanks for all your advice everyone - 7 weeks and two days tobacco free for me now.

Well done Nana I'm actually wondering if it was me & not the TW atties at fault Now don't all laugh (oh go on you can ). I hadn't hardly used my old SD for 10 months & when I got the new one recently, for some strange reason I had it in my head the battery went in the opposite way to my GG Grant - but after checking yesterday, I realise it doesn't so I bet I've been shorting the atties by having the battery in the wrong way round

Chrissie the battery in the SD is supposed to go pos to the spring but....
9/10 it will work the other way round too , the only problem used to be that you might not get it to screw shut all the way.
If the battery shorts out the spring inside the top becomes compressed - the battery does not make contact and it wont damage your atomiser - this is also what stops the battery blowing up if its faulty.
Same thing happens if you get a faulty atomiser - the spring shrinks before it shorts out the battery.

Thanks keef So my atties dying so quickly had nothing to do with me putting the batteries in the SD the wrong way round after all? I've now remembered why I thought the batts in the SD went in the opposite way to my GG. When I first got my GG last June, the batts went in negative towards attie end (ie oopossite way to the SD). But after Imeo did the safety button update on my GG, the batts now go in pos towards attie - same way as the SD.

You've certainly been unlucky with your TW atomizer multi packs Chrissie; to date I've had three packs and everyone's a winner. Even though TW don't warranty their packs, it would be a good plan to let them know about the problem; a mention on the TW forum might help. On a slightly different subject, I recently bought two OKSmokey 510 batteries and was surprised to find they were slightly longer than the originals and don't fit my PCC. To get even the smallest wisp of vapour I had to either blow into the cart or suck so hard my cheeks met (mouth I mean lol). I've returned them to George and await his comment. I'm wondering if these batteries are those TW calls the "Mega." This being the case, they will require different atomizers and carts. Has anyone here tried the "Mega Titan" and, if so, how much longer are the batteries than the originals? Fox
