Gah, I fell asleep and missed most of the second half, including the winner. I'll have to catch it later.
I didn't realise Naughton was 25 - he looks very fresh faced. I'm clearly getting too old!

Scum ( sorry man u ) did well again tonight Joe Hart actually managed to hold onto a ball rather than throwing it into the back of the net. AOC managed to keep himself on the pitch rather than handballing anything Caz showed us what he is capable of once again. Mr Williams proved once again that he is their best defender. Baines and Coleman provided the double act we are all so used to seeing this season. Just my thoughts as a fantasy footy manager , footy widow ex footy wife etc lol.

I've missed all of tonight's action sammy13, just checked the scores. No surprise in the Manchester derby, but nice to see our north London friends are having their usual end of season wobble. Our season is over, so go Everton for 4th!

I actually had Arsenal down for winning it, their defence is so strong and their midfield they can take their pick, look now though, ozil, ramsey, walcot and wilshere all with long term injury, arteta was out for what seemed like forever and I'm sure sagna was out for quite a while as well, and giroud was injury prone too. Everton are doing well if pienaar was fit and fellaini was still there who knows?

ionian do you follow the champions league as well? That's my baby really, god damn awful draw though. Heart above head I'm going with - Bayern, Real, Barcelona and Psg to go through. Would like Dortmund , and Athletico have been playing amazingly but I think it will go to the 4 above.

But I'd settle for Everton getting 4th if the goons continue to struggle and we edge ahead of them.

Oh and I'm feeling quite down about football tonight. In Spurs I love a team who have really underachieved since I started to support them and I have a massive soft spot for Argyle who I don't expect to win anything. So derby matches take on extra importance for me, as trophies are all but out of the question, putting the red scum and the red and white scum in their place really makes a season for me. 2013/14 has been one to forget on the derby front. Exeter coming from behind to do Argyle tonight has really annoyed me

I watch the matches that are on ITV when I can, but I don't follow it really closely because Spurs aren't in it I guess. I think Chelsea will beat PSG, but agree with your other picks. Real to win it. BrenD - I don't think arsenal will fall away that much unfortunately! I just want this season to end, I pray for a long term plan to be implemented that sees us challenging for top honours and not underachieving. Sorry to hear about the pilgrims plight as well!

Everton have still got to play Man U, Man City & Arse
Spurs most sticky match is this Sunday
I laugh as I watch Arse crumble at the end of the season and go trophy less again.
Now we can concentrate on the League, with Daws probably coming back this weekend.
I don't care if we only finish 5th as long as Arse are below us.
A tip for those that cannot afford BT or Sky is Acestream, PM me if you want details, many matches in stutter free HD.

i think spurs will do the business next season providing they get a new striker (lukaku i have herd mentiond) couple of new CBs, i dont think dawson can cut it kaboul dont either, and kyle naughton i think his name is, they just arnt good enough in a team like spurs i think anyways in my humble opinion,
can i just ask who the spurs fans want to bring in as their manger for next season?

Kaboul is an absolute beast, when fully fit he is good enough to play for any team in the league. Taking my Spurs-tinted glasses off for a second, he is better than Vidic and Rio are at this stage of their career and a far better defender than Smalling or Jones. He is a much better defender than Demechilis and Lescott too. If we somehow keep hold of Vertonghen and he rediscovers the form of last season, we are OK at CB. Chiriches is going to be a very good player and while Dawson isn't good enough to be first choice (I love him to bits, mind), there aren't many clubs in the league who have a 4th choice CB that good. Kyle Naughton isn't amazing, but as long as he is happy to be a back-up player, we aren't a big enough club to do much better than him. We'd have to spend a lot of money to get a better RB than Kyle Walker and no player much better than Naughton would want to come to a club like Spurs to sit on the bench. At least his attitude is sound, he was at fault for both of Soton's goals on Sunday, but didn't get too down or try and hide and looked like a different player in the second half. That said, I do cringe ever time I see his name on the teamsheet, especially at LB. Our main problem is at LB. We have turned Danny Rose from a promising left midfielder to a terrible LB who is happy to bomb forward but makes absolutely no effort to get back into position. At least when Walker bombs forward on the right, he busts a lung to get back into position when we lose the ball. On either flank Naughton doesn't tend to get as far forward as Walker does, but he also cares more about getting back into position. As Assou-Ekotto is out of contract, I doubt we'll see him in a Spurs shirt again, not that he is up to scratch. A lovely bloke by all accounts and as close to a cult hero as we have had for a while, but not good enough for a club the size of Spurs. Look at how average he has been in the Championship. I'd love to see Lukaku in a Spurs shirt, but as long as Mourinho is in charge it won't happen. There is no way he'd sell a player that good to Spurs, even if he really doesn't like the kid's attitude. Benteke or Bony are more realistic signings and I think both would flourish at the club. As for the manager situation, I'd settle for (almost) anyone but Sherwood! van Gaal would be awesome, Frank de Boer could more than do a job for us and it has been interesting to hear that Leonardo isn't too happy as PSG's Sporting/Technical Director or whatever his job title is and would like to get back into management. With the right man in charge and a few new players we'll fly next season. Look at how average the likes of Joe Allen and Jordan Henderson were for Liverpool last season and what they are doing now. Eriksen and Chadli are starting to show signs of really settling in, Soldado has been brilliant in recent weeks and I'm sure the same will be true of Paulinho next season. It is harder to judge Lamela, Chiriches and Capoue as they have all had pretty lengthy injuries, but I think they'll all make it at the club.

The fans were far more annoyed about losing Mata than where he ended up, but they would go absolutely mental if Lukaku ended up at Spurs.
