I'd probably go for a Spinner or Twist Variable Voltage battery Greg, then it doesn't matter what resistance your coil heads are, as you can just up the voltage to give a punchier vape. A lower ohm coil will do similar on a standard battery . . . it's either or really. Although I'd probably buy both, you know you've made the right choice then.

Hi gregb, just got back from the pub Total respect on finding Mrs. Lord's Seville Marmalade so quickly! I only got into it last week, and I've got through more of than than anything else since. I realise it's a substantial investment, but I bought 50ml of the Marmalade last week, I think it's totally worth it. Hangsen Orange is a cheaper, less complicated substitute, but also very vapeable. If your OH likes the orange flavour, I think you might find yourself in seriously good books if you were to put some of the Marmalade in her path... Just doing mah job....

Your far to flippant with my wallet, is that my wife incognito Spending is good for the soul, especially if it's someone else's money Greg. I'm not sure which wat to gi between a spinner and a vamo or similar so I've ordered a couple of pro tank Ii's and some 1.8 ohm coils, it's seems these coils will fit my Evods too so I'll have a play around with theses combinations while I make my mind up on the variable power source.

I've been using vision spinner since Tuesday having only started vaping the previous Thursday, so I'm pretty new to this stuff. But only use my normal battery when the spinner is on charge! Love the fact I can turn it up or down if I fancy more/less of taste/throat hit in seconds! At first I turned it up to level that had burnt taste then turned down abit, now I kinda know what I can get away with and keep it between minimum(3.3V) and roughly 4.5V, but your mileage may vary according to taste, juice and ohms on coil. I used this image www.mcssl.com/content/213874/products/VapingPowerChart.png to check I was in safe enough zone ohms-vs-volts and had pretty much got it right. Should add, I've only used mine with a protank mini on 2.5ohms. Another plus of a VV battery will be if I ever try doing my own coils in future, however will need a ohms meter to test them......or another VV with ohms meter!

Now it starts Any excuse to move onto the next toy.. Be advised the totaliser in your sig will skyrocket if your going down the Mod path..If you are happy with your current VV, get an other as a spare and invest a couple of Quid in a Multimeter to check your coils. Cheaper way to keep your new pastime within limits

Gona try and keep vape spend below cig spend (once I break even lol). But I really want some more protanks at the mo, and a decent case to carry this stuff about in.

It's funny but Mrs never mentioned the fact I was spending to much on cigs yet she already thinks I've spent to much on this stuff!
Got her a protank kit at same time as I got my kit and spinner. Gave it to her yesterday for her birthday and she loves it, one more convet me thinks.
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using proboards

Shineyitus is a very stealthy syndrome. I always liked to think I was if not immune then at least very resistant .. until I caught myself thinking that next month the government could be subsidising my shineyitus with something called "Winter Vape Payment"

So I think I've decided on my plan once my protanks arrive and my 1.6 ohm coil heads. Next up is an MPV2 to give a bit more punch for me but I'm pretty sure mrs b won't like the look or the button on the mpv2. So I thought I'll get her a couple of 100mah Evod vv batteries, thing is I can find every colour apart from purple, only place tat stock purple so far are in USA I thought I'd cracked it with A place in Ireland but only 650mah You can't expect here to use a mismatched battery with a purple Evod, how very uncouth
