I've just set up my Russian clone - I gave it a good clean, there was a lot of gunk in the mouthpiece and in the air hole in particular. I made my own coil, four wraps of 0.2 around a S shape of .2 silica and filled up with jack the ripple. It's vaping fine, it's not earth moving stuff as I had perhaps built it up to be in my mind, but there's good flavour and plenty of vapour.
I guess I'll get more proficient at coiling it, and I'll have a go at a cotton wool / microcoil build if my wire ever gets here - maybe that will improve things. I'm not disappointed, just suffering from having too high expectations I guess. At the moment, the oddy clone deffo hits harder.

I've been vaping with it all night - now the coil has settled down, it's working beautifully. I don't have much experience with RBAs but I'm super happy with mine, it was easy to coil and worked first time with no leaks. I'm sorry to hear others have had less luck than me with theirs, but if anyone is yet to try it and now worrying, I hope you have a good'un!

I received mine in the week and after giving it a clean today I have it all set up. It not a bad bit of kit given the price. It doesn't have that feel of quality an original KFL does but it works just as well. I'm using the rings and chimney from my original which is currently set up with a nano kit so that helps give it a more substantial feel. It's an ideal set up with my nemesis clone during the party season when I may end up having a few more drinks that is good for me while my KFL & GP Paps are safely at home.

Got mine the other day too, I stripped it down to its component parts because there was a lot of oil inside it which is a bit flippin iffy. Put it back together to coil it and one of the tiny screws for trapping the wire was de-threaded, fortunately there's some spares and the replacement bites ok. As clones go it's not got much quality to it but I'm sure it'll vape ok, there are lots of sub £20 clones out there and this is at the bottom of the pile quality wise. I'd take it climbing in case I dropped it off a cliff, but my KF lite isn't in any danger of getting replaced any time soon. Actually I think I'll give it to the better half, she can't look after anything so nothing lost there

Has anyone come up with a fix for the de-threaded negative screw hole?.........the spare screw was only a temporary fix.

Well, finally got around to cleaning and making this up tonight. Seems to work fine for me. Just did a simply coil with silica and it's working fine. Was tempted to go micro-coil and cotton wool, but happy enough. Vapes great.
Stuck it on my Nemesis clone from FT, for a bit of AOTC banter and it just looks right. Same size as my Vamo (Nemesis / Russian in 18650, Vamo / Aspive vivi in 18350). Heavy though in that set-up. Need to use the locking ring for sure.

I set it up tonight with the navy nest from a vid I found from Andrew on YouTube. Whistles better than me haha. Had one dry hit but that may have been my wicking not the atty itself. Must say was getting better flavour from the taifun though. Had one issue the thread won't tighten at all in my evic but fits my svd and vamo ok don't wanna use this on the evic now in case of breaking it

Had mine for about a week now, very satisfying vape on a Nemesis clone. Easy to set up too. The fill screw dethreaded after 2 fills so I fitted the spare - that is now showing signs of wear. I am currently filling from the top because I am worried the second screw will wear out and the atty will be unusable. Does anyone know the size of the fill screw so that I can obtain some good quality replacements (the size of the coil screws would be handy as well)

Not impressed with this Russian
Just gone to re-wick it and the negative post appears to have no threading.
Tried the other screws out of the bag. None of them tighten to trap the wire. just keep spinning.

On mine the base seems to be ok but the screws are soft and strip easily, you can pick them up with a magnet so not stainless. If I could find out the sizes I was planning to buy A4 stainless replacements and a couple of taps to run through and tidy up the threads.
I think the atty is good and its a real shame the maker ruined it to save a couple of pennies on screws.
I think the fill screw and airflow screw are 2mm not sure about the coil screws.

Following a play around it's not the post as i've managed to get a screw from another atty to screw in there. So the three screws that come with it are useless As for the bottom filling screw, cannot get that undone for love nor money ???

The supplied cheapo just about works for the post screws but does nothing to the fill screw on mine. May I ask you which atty's screw you managed to get to fit as my neg post has the same issue?

Not so much a screw but a top head off of an Octopus post Not a screw head problem, i've tried every single screwdriver head i have and none fit.
