Thanks Ron, so you can get the syringe to the bottom ok? Also worried knocking over 30ml would be a big cleanup job but 100ml! and the waste! Do you find them ok to lie on side? i.e. with no leakage?

I use the same type of bottle from ampulla in 250ml, but I had two litres. The 250ml I'm currently using doesn't live in the freezer. I reckon it's OK in a cool dark place, and my grandkids aren't big enough for me to need a lockbox.

Apparently Nicotine doesn't freeze so no need to worry about it expanding and cracking glass bottles. I haven't got around to freezing mine yet.

Although I'd try and have any bottles standing upright, to avoid any possible seepage. It's simple enough once the bottles have returned to room temperature to turn them upside down in a jug or some such get the last dregs out or warm the bottle slightly to make any remaining liquid more runny and easier to extract.

Without sounding trite if you are going to knock over a three inch high bottle with a 1.5 inch base should you be handling nicotine

The current thinking is that the plastic can leech a taint to the nic liquid but it is too soon to know

Got some foam around at work, might make myself a little bottle holder so nothing gets knocked over, just in case.

I have about 2.5 litres of Nic base in the freezer in 250ml glass bottles and i keep a 250ml glass bottle of nic base and a 100ml glass bottle of nic base in the fridge.
All i do is use the 100ml bottle of nic base out of the fridge for mixing and top it up with the 250ml in the fridge when it runs low, i do it this way as i don't really want to knock over a 250ml bottle.
When the 250ml of nic base in the fridge has run out i just get one out of the freezer and replace so i always have a continuous top up of the 100ml bottle.

It freezes fine in plastic bottles and is ok for the short term, up to two years in plastic bones3 . . . over that length of time then the generally accepted view is that glass is a better option. I'm happy to go along with that, as I think after spending out on nic base for long term future use, then a few more pennies spent on some glass bottles is a sensible investment.

There's not that much difference between the temperature in the freezer and the fridge so either will do. The important thing is to fill them brim full - oxygen will react with the nic over time so the less air at the top of the bottle the better.
ps if you fill your atty with a syringe these are the dinkiest bottles for your juice.
