Told to not use ecig at New street station, Birmingham

Bit miffed, member of staff came over and told me couldn't use ecig at station, was bit moody about it.

Thing is I hadn't been using it at station until a week and a bit ago when someone who works at station came up to me outside and said I could use it in station!
Even double checked inside station as lot of police about and cop and station staff member confirmed it.

But lad today said he was new and had had meeting saying its a no go.>

Even stealthing in new street station is dodgy.

Better to stand next to the E-Lites vendor and bait them with an eGo battery + clearo.

not happy about the vape police, but still - as a recent ex-smoker, at least I get to vape in more places than I did smoking ..... but still, its not as if they seem to want to help you quit the dreaded weed

Least I'll never get fined in non smoking hotels in my room...and I can stelth vape in loos!
I asked at Liverpool Echo Arena last week and they said NO, but he did say I could go stand near the exit doors, odd but I just had a toke in ladies loos and was sorted, I dont want to have to walk miles for a nicotine fix!

My son has been doing some stewarding for G4S. He told me today that one of the reasons that e-cigs are not allowed at football stadiums is that there are now available 'fake e-cigs' that you can put a real cig inside

I call bs on this. 1st, the ash would accumulate which would extinguish the cig, also if it's sealed, it would get very hot.

I think this is just a theory that one of the guys in the offices came up with to stop ecig usage in stadiums not an actual product which exists.
I could be wrong though.

I have had this a few times and always reply "I see plenty of NO smoking signs but vaping is not smoking" ............it stumps them everytime

It always amuses me the places you can't vape. So getting whacked of your head on alcohol in a pub is absolutely fine. Not to mention the amount of times you get annoyed by drunks they should have cut off hours before. But vaping is a no no. What sense does that make?

Most local cafe's are absolutely fine with it. My mum was in hospital for 6 months and not one nurse or doctor asked me to stop vaping in there. Most of them just wanted to know what it was so they could get one for themselves/their family members.

One of the reasons I started to vape was that I was fed up not being able to smoke anywhere but in the freezing cold. I vape everywhere if the fancy takes me, by stealth if I have to.
