Let's all go on the pi** and just chuck some old films on, by remote, that no-one even watched when they first came out. What a dismal display... what a load of old crock. What a typical way that the mega businesses treat their 'suckers'.

I think I may even go out to enjoy myself, something I've not done in many a year! Bye, bye TV.

I switched off the telly and actually went into work to wrap up a few things in peace when no one else was around..

It was the most banal tripe that could be dished out or maybe I am old and grumpy, more likely the latter.

I've now switched off even the News, on a 15 min loop. God, it's awful... going to find some CDs to play or else just going to bed. Not that it will be any better tomorrow.

I've downloaded 5 books to my Kindle today so plenty to keep me occupied if the telly is dire

There is only 1 rule in my house. If Ellie Goulding comes on, the electrics trip switch for the entire house has to activated (switched off) within 10 seconds to avoid instant damage inflicted to one of the expensive TVs in our house.
