Humans are much bigger than dogs and have a higher tolerance to foreign substances though I guess. That's why you can't give a dog chocolate (supposedly)

The thing that I didn't like was the guy who was shown twice saying something like, we are vaping numerous toxins, he didn't expand on that, but they saw fit to show his uninformed contribution twice, who was he I had an excited 7 year old birthday girl bouncing around at the time so missed some of the program.
The incorrect diagram of the cigalike and that guys comments just reinforced my view that our greatest enemy is ignorance not facts.

On balance I'm not unhappy. BIG media event, not too many cig-a-likes. VIP got a bashing. Mr "Sigelei" only said that some products were bad to big up his own company. E-Lites dude was a thick thug (like them all). Plenty of mods on show.
Believe it or not, I thought the "Vype" footage was almost credible.

I guess we move onwards and forwards. No publicity is bad publicity and all that.

I just can't help feeling that every person "lost" to the potential of vaping is ... um ... lost to remain a smoker.

Makes you wonder if WHO and BMA etc are getting "fat off BAT" for doing "Research" Then they all have so much to loose.

Working on the cost of a packet of fags being £7, and allowing just one packet per person, UK vapers alone loose the Tobacco industry and Government (Don't forget the Chancellor takes about 50% I think) £10,500,000 per day ! that's a ball park figure of £3,832,500,000 per year !!! They are going to be paying anyone and everyone to get their hands on this lost revenue.

First serious look at the topic by mainstream TV. It was still with the realms of
Tabloid journalism, ie it skimmed the surface, but it HAS brought the discussion to
The forefront. Fingers crossed the heavyweights will take notice.
You never know, Paxman may get to say "well, why DONT you know, surely that's what your paid for!"
Looking at the bigger picture I have high hopes this will start a ball rolling.

No I didn't Ric, I sign the petitions, take part in the poles and support when I can but to watch people droning on about a subject they seem to know nothing about even though they really should know everything, considering this is the best chance any smoker has of staying alive. You would think health organisations would welcome it with open arms. But it's not about health is it it's about ££££. It boils my pi$$ !

I am living proof of the benefits of moving from cigarettes to ecigs as I am sure are a high percentage of others on the forums.

I was admitted to hospital and spent 48hrs on a drip and nebuliser etc in July 2012 spent a few days in a ward full of pensioners that could barely take a breath, scared the crap out of me and the Dr told me it would probably be my only warning. that was when I decided to kick my 35 rollie a day habit for something that wouldn't kill me !

It's devastating to think that their greed is going to cost millions of lives in the long term.

Oh I'm not saying that there are no health benefits, just that perhaps those campaigning may be approaching it from the wrong angle.
