I would love to see them that cheap... then everyone could just give them a try... pop them in vending machines in pubs and clubs (oh that is a good idea.. i could make millions) I took a leap of faith when i first bought a vaping device... the outlay of £35 can't be taken lightly but it was so worth it!! side note the cig-e-likes in my club vending machine will have a multi colour LED that flashes to the music, that should keep HH happy

OK, folks here's the SP. I absolutely know that the immediate attraction of a looky-likey is great - it's what I started with, and what I expect a lot of my contemporaries started with. From that point of view - as an enticer, a teaser, a proof of concept, they're ace. But there, their usefulness ends. Landlords are (rightly, IMHO) suspicious of them, they do not deliver, and they're not conducive to the widespread acceptance of electronic smoking, purely because they make you look like you're smoking a traditional cigarette. Trust me, all hell will break loose should a landlord be done for allowing smoking on his premises when someone sparks a real one up because a few other folks were using looky-likeys. The same cannot be said of a Tornado or eGo, or a Fog King Tank or any of the other reasonably priced larger battery non-fag-alike units out there. And just to clarify things a little, the ITV cameraman specifically requested we used the more "specialist" kit we had - he was very interested in what the Darwin and GGTS were, and why I favoured them over other stuff - certainly, Cat, Sav and myself had gone with Tornadoes in hand and were using them during the BBC individual interviews. Have a look at this: www.vapourtrails.tv/?p=1740

Wednesday night at The Anglers should provide a really good bit of research for us all. The landlady Simone was a smoker, she allowed us (me) to 'vape' in the pub. Eventually, she started vaping, when NOT working only (a semi quitter). She has a bunch of regulars who like smoking and do not understand why other people would want to smoke inside anymore. She has a number of non or anti-smokers that cannot stand the sweet smell of the vapour!! I want to see REALITY in action on Wed - I hope that VTTV will concentrate on the smokers/non-smokers rather than the established vapers that are turning up to show their support. Hopefully there will be a common bond between all the people that turn up, and that is the social interaction and friendly banter/discussion that a REAL pub offers

Excellent clip! I like the idea of carrying a few disposables round. I had a lady stop me in the park on Saturday and I let her have a vape on my GGTB, she was quite afraid of it. But I think to get her going a disposable would've gone down a storm.

If'n they don't wanna, there's nowt I can do...

I know Dave - I'll work on them I was speaking to GD on the pm'y type dooberywhatsits and he suggested that when VTTV goes out 'live', that we do the GD auctions and the vapers can bid for the LG1001 and the Original Little Cow from CHAT - I agree with that, so the VTTalk hour can mainly consist of stuff for the established vaper. I would like the 'other stuff' to be part of The Haze Hour or any future programmes that concentrate on the 'issue' of smoker to vaper and all that entails. We may still be 'p@ssing in the wind' as the gorgeous Jessica says, BUT NOW, we may have the wind in the reyt direction to stop us from being covered in it

We'll natter about that on the day, Russ - logistics will be the over-riding concern - it may be difficult to get a two-way feed working successfully - it's not just a plug'n'play thing!!
