Everyone - Please Read - concerning Absolute Beginners Board

Just a thought how about a simple questions section? Maybe a sub board of general. It sometimes seems to simple a question to ask in general.

How about it not being a sticky, but with a ' Please Read ' label - that one of us bump as a reminder, as we do on the Classies about labelling. That seems to work quite well and acts as a reminder.

It's simple enough/not time consuming to do and hopefully wouldn't put anyone off asking a more advanced question elsewhere, we could see how that goes perhaps?

I think I have been guilty of this , thats why I posted the question when is a newbie not a newbie LOL

I've only been vaping and been here for a little over 3 weeks so although I am not showing a newbie I still think of myself as a newbie ... life is so confusing at times but I have started posting elsewhere now.

I'm not gonna suggest anything as being a 'newbie' even though I'm not a newbie anymore I don't feel it's not my place to tell people who have been here ages how to run this place, but thats just me What I will just add is WELL DONE on the best forum I have ever been a part of

tricky one, it could almost do with splitting the board into two, new to forum and beginners. The existing stickies could be replicated on both (if proboards engine would facilitate this easily)....

Don't beat yourself up, the chat room question has been brought up a few times in the past, and will be brought up again, I have not been on here for 4 months ye,t and this was the 2nd or 3rd time it has been suggested. and I can see both sides of it, but I agree in the end because of the reason that to much valuable information would be lost and I know someone will bring it up again in the next 3 months, and I look forward to reading the reply's then as we have a ever growing member base and I think the conversation helps to bring people out of there shells if no one posts it would be very boring and our fine members would move on and no one wants that.

Keep on posting fella because in between all of our ramblings there is little snippets of information that people would like to know

And for all you lurkers out there now is the time to come out into the open come and introduce yourself we don't bite and we all have some info to share even if you don't think so you will be surprised.

What about a "Introduce Yourself & Questions from those New to Vaping " as a board name?

Regarding Beginners - folks tend to subdivide once they've got through the initial beginners status...
Take me, for instance - I'm reasonably knowledgeable about Mechs, RBA's and RDA's, have legacy knowledge from my time with Ego > VV/VW batteries & iClear / Protanks and am just past the absolute beginner phase of mixing.
Likewise there will be experienced mixologists who will have limited if any knowledge of building coils or the behaviour of various wicking materials in some device family.

That be my tuppanceworth.

But to be honest I would have:
Title " The Newbie Zone
"Introduce Yourself" If you are new to the forums please tell us about yourself etc...
"Newbie General Questions Have a question you dont know the answer to ..post in here


You could also have the Intermediate Section and the Advanced Section

Just an Idea
