Not all clones created equal! Update from vendor

I totally understand Mrsmac.

one of the new tips I ordered the other day that said it was compatible with the mini protank didn't fit my mini protank. I was a bit peeved as I wanted a flat tip as opposed to a round one as I prefer that shape, but I contacted the vendor and he said he could either refund my money or send me a new tip. Which I thought was fair enough. And when he explained that different manufacturers work to different tolerances I totally saw how the problem can arise (having done an apprenticeship in aircraft engineering I know too well the importance of tolerances when making things to fit together!! but some manufacturers obviously don't LOL)
But like I said - to be fair to them they offered replacement or refund so I would still recommend them as a vendor !!

like you said Mrsmac this is a uk vendor so I am sure they will sort it out

but don't forget they should refund all postage charges as well as item is unusable in that state so don't let them charge you for the return postage  hold your ground the law is on your side

and with this being uk it should be sorted quickly  good luck mrsmac

Focal are having a promotion 21st-23rd (Hong Kong Time) and will be doing Kayfun (Russian) clones for $14.90 & other stuff. I have 4 of these and prefer them to the two types of Tobeco I have form FT, the finish is not as good as the FT ones, but they wick better and have more flavour because of the shorter chamber, they do leek out of the fill screw a bit (I just put PTFE plumbers tape on this).

thanks for this as I don't have any of these and was looking for a couple but there was that many around I didn't know where to start but at that price I think it is time to take the leap so when the sale goes live can you send me the link to this one please as I need to get 2 at that price its a must

It should be the 21st Hong Kong time at 5 PM today the above link should be the correct one, I don't know if there is a stock limit so I would try to get in quick.

You could get teethcv some of the $0.90 cigalikes to ween him off the E-Lites. And a "Pen Neck Strap Case Carrying Pouch with Lanyard for EGO/EGO-T/EGO-W/EGO-K-Pink" $0.40 for yourself, your worth it.

Who knows, some of the Tebecos come in white and blue boxes and they have been cloned because of all the positive youtube reviews, yes clones of clones.

you should name so others don't share the same ordeal especially if purchased from a UK vendor as many believe that paying more from a UK vendor means better quality. I know whether they be UK or where ever this can happen but vendor who shipped you this should be named so others who have purchased from them can check any they have purchased, its how they now respond to complaint that makes the distinction between good & bad vendor not the fact a rogue atty got through.

Spoke to myepacksmilierun let him know I am sending it back and that it really is not up to standard atall. Standard response, will look into it etc I advised him not to send out anymore until he has at least seen the email with the pics. He expressed surprise as the factory where they were purchased usually produce good clones. I was asked about what clones I use and I said that I got a hcigar one last week which was brilliant and was told that hcigar do not manufacture their own products but purchase from factories and brand it theirs.

I don't expect an answer to my email or pics so said I am sending it back and will call him mon/tues as if they are all from the same factory, I don't want another one...to be continued I guess.
