Focal are having a promotion 21st-23rd (Hong Kong Time) and will be doing Kayfun (Russian) clones for $14.90 & other stuff. I have 4 of these and prefer them to the two types of Tobeco I have form FT, the finish is not as good as the FT ones, but they wick better and have more flavour because of the shorter chamber, they do leek out of the fill screw a bit (I just put PTFE plumbers tape on this).

thanks for this as I don't have any of these and was looking for a couple but there was that many around I didn't know where to start but at that price I think it is time to take the leap so when the sale goes live can you send me the link to this one please as I need to get 2 at that price its a must

ronaldo welcome new boy, you can't really go wrong for less than a tenner each. Its a shame they didn't have the Stingrays on offer as I would have grabbed another.

£63 for the cana modz clone... The one coming from the States (from elev8vape who hitherto have been the only distributors for Cloupor) worked out at $83 including P&P, so um err 0.58763 times 83 divide by 4 carry 1 sod it windows key calculator £49. Mind you the waiting time is huge, ordered mine on May 23rd and still waiting shipment. Can't imagine m-vapes shipping much faster though unless Cloupor are really ramping up production. At least they'll be the 'new' clones, with a 510 centre pin that doesn't short out on some attys! That was a big oops... sometimes it doesn't pay to be first adopter!

Mrsmac That is really bad, I don't think ive seen one like that before. The centre posts don't even seem to fit on that size deck, they look like they overhang the deck. Just looks like any old parts thrown together. The juice channels look like they were cut with drill type bit instead of a flat router.
Hope ypou get your refund ok, you should from getting that thing.

Update: was contacted by vendor by email with a respinse from the manufacturer who claims in response to my concerns:

1) The copper center pin is used to contact with the base for stronger conductivity, not e-juice, and it should not make contact with e-juice. After coiled up the wire and silica, it should be lifted up from the base, or else it will cause a short-circuit.
2) We had an client oem a bunch of kayfun totally made of copper, but never heard of that secure issue.
3) After test, all parts are within safe levels.

Regarding the screw and base problem, our kayfun is 1:1 clone, and that's how the kayfun was designed. As long as the "coiled up" base could be covered by the chimney, it could work. Could you please have it try and test first and see if there is the functioning problem? As for our test, it works perfect.

I do agree with this. Please let us know which vendor we need to avoid for the future. You never know........it may teach them a lesson about Customer Service.

The VENDOR sold you this item. The item should be fit for purpose and it is not. It is therefore up to the VENDOR to take action to replace or refund. Whatever fight they have with the manufacturer is their concern not yours!

Whilst the vendor is "friendly" enough, it just seems as though there is no urgency to rectify the situation or come up with a solution as such. The thing is 90% of my equipment comes from there and generally there are no issues. But how on earth can they justify that what was sent is a good quality item! I'm just so angry, i dunno what to do with myself!
