I just logged in a few minutes ago for a quick nosey and was going to place an order with Ash like I normally do. I can honestly say that I have never had a problem with myepack, but will order elsewhere tonight until I see this is resolved properly.
Come on Ash, some input would be nice to put all your regular customers at ease.

I definately am not saying that myepack are a bad vendor in anyway, and as i previously stated 90% of my equipment is from there and definately without issue. Please guys, this thread was actually just me venting, i was excited that myepack were doing kayfuns as they are usually my preferred vendor for things so jumped at the chance to get one and disappointed when it arrived and wanted to show everyone that not all clones are equal, which this is my first experience of.
Think i'll just go somewhere quiet and hope that i can get this resolved, not being silly just concerned as to what i have started

I think the reply they sent you is what has made people express their disgust and not any action of yours.

Mrsmac, please don't let this start getting you down or feeling guilty. You were right to bring this issue to other members and in my opinion you have acted with with integrity throughout the thread. Really hope you get this sorted quickly.

Mrsmac you have started nothing other than a constructive debate. I myself have used them with no issues. But this is the third occassion I can recall, a problem has been highlighted with the vendor and the resolution was not a quick one. The item was purchased from the vendor not the supplier. As I said in my OP its how a vendor deals with a problem that makes or breaks them. Sadly for me its broken them on this occassion. They've had a full day to Contact you Mrsmac and have failed to make the best of an opportunity you gave them to rectify the problem.

Absolutely right - no guilt Mrsmac I understand how you might want to duck though. I kind of thought you naming the vendor was an accident or mistake. Matters not though. I honestly believe your intent is not to create a fire storm of condemnation. Soul is intact. But folks - you have to give myepack the chance to respond.... To continue as their apologist, I reckon MrsM will have reached out late Friday - that leaves Saturday and Sunday + today. Saturday staff for any small mail order business is likely to be reduced and Monday will always be catching up on weekend orders... Let's guess that Myepack have three perhaps four members of staff... Well, it's the Solstice weekend, weather is wonderful, people get ill, bad stuff happens in peoples lives, as does good... It's quite possible that they are short today and one person out can make a huge difference... From past experience, I know that Ash works into the evening any email responses I've had have always been in the evenings... Please - allow a little more time....

Update: was contacted by vendor by email with a respinse from the manufacturer who claims in response to my concerns: 1) The copper center pin is used to contact with the base for stronger conductivity, not e-juice, and it should not make contact with e-juice. After coiled up the wire and silica, it should be lifted up from the base, or else it will cause a short-circuit. 2) We had an client oem a bunch of kayfun totally made of copper, but never heard of that secure issue. 3) After test, all parts are within safe levels.
Regarding the screw and base problem, our kayfun is 1:1 clone, and that's how the kayfun was designed. As long as the "coiled up" base could be covered by the chimney, it could work. Could you please have it try and test first and see if there is the functioning problem? As for our test, it works perfect.I am just soooo angry right now! Tomj777. I ask you this:- Do you feel that this, if you were in Mrsmac's position, is a satisfactory response to the problem and how much more time do they want ?.

Tomj777. I ask you this:- Do you feel that this, if you were in Mrsmac's position, is a satisfactory response to the problem and how much more time do they want ?. Nope - and I don't think in my last but one post in this thread that I implied that it was a satisfactory response (you might have missed that other post). The response you quoted wasn't the only one ("nice enough", Mrsmac said, although I don't know details). Ash's or his teams response was a verbatim copy and paste (probably with some preface) but no commentary and (see the second supplier bullet point), which was a big mistake in my book. So... at best one business day (not counting weekends, which is likely to be skeletal staff) has passed at the time of me writing - is that enough time? Depends on what Mrs Mac feels and nothing else, not you, not me, not myepack (for a customers perception is all that truly matters at the end of the day, regardless of anything whatsoever). However, in my book, I think it's better to give sufficient time for the vendor to respond before we pass our collective judgement (that is not my personal judgement, nor I guess yours - for we are entitled as individuals). I tried to explain why I thought, based on what little I know of their business (the only conversations I have ever had with Ash were a product question prior to purchasing and then a few months later enquiring about shipping something to Australia direct from them), that they would require more time to reply. Look - it's really easy for threads like this to escalate in the heat of the moment and to cause excessive damage to a vendors reputation... Based on a "nice enough" phone call and an ill considered (rushed?) copy/paste I really do not believe there is enough evidence. See what it looks like in the cold light of day. "how much more time do they want" ? No idea (but then I wouldn't).

I've bought a lot from Ash. And had good service. But I've had issues with my last purchace from him. So I emailed 2 weeks ago still waiting for a response. I won't pass judgement but from now on I'll be buying from a different vendor. Customer service is key. Sorry Ash but thats it for me. Hope you get sorted Mrsmac.

I have never purchased from this vendor but emails are known to get lost in the ether if the email was important would advised to follow up after 48-72 hours it maybe the case that the vendor has never received your email

I'm with tomj777 on this. Mrsmac only received the item on Friday & it's now only Monday. Please give the vendor more time to sort out the issue.

I know a couple of people have had a few problems with myepack but they are usually down to communication problems. When the problems are discovered (May take a couple of days) they are always sorted out with a refund or replacement. I have placed an order with myepack on Sunday and will continue to place orders with them in the future as i honestly believe they are one of the better companies. This post was escalating into a witch hunt not what Mrsmac intended.
