That is not good, they have damaged the positive post insulator and it looks like the positive pin is plated which I don't like for bits that come into contact with your liquid.

Hope the vendor sorts this out PDQ, if not name & shame them.

I wont name and shame as thats not my nature, but i couldnt believe it! the centre screw is brass or copper, the deck wonky and the fill hole almost dropping off... i mean come on! really pi$$ed now cause wanted to add it to my rotation for the weekend double

there is nothing good about that 1 except maybe the o rings tell the vender Mrsmac they cannot expect you to take there substandard crap that must be the worst one I have seen

Honestly! and i am no expert on kayfun or any other clones for that matter even looking at the pic, the screws would probably cause a short too, but i was so excited and when i got this felt like thats unless i can get another vendor to send one out pronto

Oh yes, i have let the vendor know that what they have sent is total carp to put it politely!

And its weekend and nothing to play with now

let us know the vendors reply when you get it as there is good and bad in every industry

you should name so others don't share the same ordeal especially if purchased from a UK vendor as many believe that paying more from a UK vendor means better quality. I know whether they be UK or where ever this can happen but vendor who shipped you this should be named so others who have purchased from them can check any they have purchased, its how they now respond to complaint that makes the distinction between good & bad vendor not the fact a rogue atty got through.

fiddles, I understand what you are saying and of course, i dont want others to go through this especially someone who may not have others to compare it to, the thing is i dont want to cause a 'situation' if you see what i mean for the vendor or any future orders i may place with the vendor, so it really is me ranting about the variation of clones and my luck etc, hope i am making sense lol

Please peeps, i understand the need to know and please dont think bad of me for not posting the vendor but i would like to give the vendor a chance to sort it out and i am sure they will, i have sent photos to the vendor so they can see why it has to go back for a full refund! All i am prepared to say in reference to the vendor is that it is a uk based shop

Does anyone think i can actually fix it? new screws maybe?

I know it won't help you for a few weeks Mrsmac

Focal are having a promotion 21st-23rd (Hong Kong Time) and will be doing Kayfun (Russian) clones for $14.90 & other stuff. I have 4 of these and prefer them to the two types of Tobeco I have form FT, the finish is not as good as the FT ones, but they wick better and have more flavour because of the shorter chamber, they do leek out of the fill screw a bit (I just put PTFE plumbers tape on this).

Thank you VapingBad, i shall look out for that, i have my eye on the plus from ft everyone is raving about as well as another one from ft recommended a couple days back, cant hurt to pop one of these in the basket as well...I love the things..kind of

You would need a new ss centre pin and top insulator at least, so not worth it.
