Not a bad article for once, but the DM changes it's stance as quick as the wind changes.
But they end with...
So does that mean 6 out of 7 said 'no', and 5 out of 6 disagreed. ???

It looks like the same poll that the metro used a couple of days ago, and they reported it the same way ("16% disapproved" as opposed to 84% approve etc). It is frustrating that the narrative appears to have already been decided, and stats, science and opinion will be bent to fit.

Quite a fair and unbiased article, especially considering it's the Daily Wail. As for the doctors' opinions - not really surprising some are wary of vaping when it's something we're inhaling into our lungs. My own GP didn't try to talk me out of it; when I said it's safer than smoking she just said "Just because it's safer than smoking doesn't mean it's safe". She was 100% right and I wouldn't have respected her if she's said otherwise. Can't wait for it to be prescription only, then I'll get it all free - whoooo

Free kit from the NHS? Hmm, that'll be something along the lines of a recycled old brass paraffin blowlamp fitted with a dynamo that powers a torch lightbulb that you are meant to use as a dripper.

I read the article in "hard" copy.
Basically, it's a positive piece. If only 1 out of 6 or 7 people (doctors) want to slap some "meds-reg" or "ban" on e-cigs, then they have no mandate to do that at all.
BUT, as we all know, the whole debate isn't about what proportion want to meddle, it's about power and money. 15% of doctors wanting to ban something isn't enough to make it happen in a democratic way, but this is e-cigs we are talking about.

Ooooh yes I'm sure they would a Provari on prescription. After all, they've spent years bullying us into packing up smoking so they would want us to be happy with our choice

i have only come across one dr that was dead against e cigs and had a go at me for swapping smoking to e cigs, he said i was swapping one nicotine addiction for another not bothering to hear me out, i complained about his attitude but of course the hospital stuck by him was a biased investigation, seeing as i had a witness they didn't even bother to contact, the rest have been supportive and interested, wanting to know more, looking at my equipment and even allowed me to vape in hospital with the exception of the idiot orthopedic consultant at west suffolk, the rest are all for it,
The papers have done nothing but scare monger at least the mail starts off supportive, just wish other papers wouldn't scaremonger and the sheep wouldn't follow and believe everything they read
