Been re reading my Lee child ( jack reacher ) books. Also I'd reccomend shaun hutson for good horror. Pepperty have a look at Christine feehan ( dark series Carpathians) Mrs loves these, must admit I read a few and they bloody good. I have read just about all Shaun Hutson's stuff, he is really good. I'm more into authors like Diane Chamberlain now

Of all the books I have read two authors series have to be my favourite Michael J Sullivan for theft of swords, rise of empire and heir of novron, I read the first book and all I can say is it just gripped me and refused to let me go. The other author is Kim Hunter for the Red Pavilions trilogy, this trilogy made me laugh, cheer and cry which is something that a book had never done to me up till the point where I brought it. Everyone who I have introduced to it have loved it.

I've recently started a book by James Herbert titled "Nobody True". Tis a weird one this is, it's about a guy who often took himself away on 'out of body' experiences, then one day when he came back to get inside his body he found he'd been killed so he couldn't get back in and was sort of stuck in no man's land. Right at the beginning of the book it says "I wasn't there when I died" Don't know yet what happens from here on as I need to get reading the rest of it

I was shocked when he died last year .

I'm rather limited on what books I can get hold of. I have to rely on British tourists bringing over books and leaving them behind after they've read them so that I can snatch 'em up I have managed to fill my bookcase with a nice selection of leftovers though I hate these kindle machines though, coz a lot of tourists now use these instead of bringing books over for me to grab Perhaps you could suggest to a friendly bar/ café / shop that you frequent that they could do a book exchange?
Where I stay in Spain a couple of café bars do it, you can buy a book for 1 euro or you can take a book in and buy another for 50cents.
When I am there I read a book everyday, 2 days max, so each week I take in 7 and bring back 7 new to me ones ready for the following weeks read.
