I've found so far that taking the filling out of the cart, dropping about 6 - 7 drops in the cart, then replacing the filling. Put 2-3 drops on top of the filling & I've been good to go. I did that with the blue stuff I just obtained. It works great with a fresh fill but topping up is a failure and I end up reverting to dripping I just do not have the knack with stuffing Judicious dripping works great but only a couple of drops at a time is safe (in a standard 901 atty), so it has to be done very frequently. Some atties are more easily flooded than others, some are killed stone dead with one drip scylla Scylla I've found that a cocktail stick works wonders for taking out the filling and putting it back in. I put 5 - 46 drops of liquid in the empty cart then put the blue stuff back in. I mix it around so that the filler is soaked, no need to put more liquid on the filler then. Found so far that this works perfectly.

Delighted to hear you're up and running Ken - as everyone has said it does take a bit of trial and error to find the right combo that suits you. I'm also finding James' ejuice the best I've tried so far for vape - I stocked up before he went on hols and have 2 large bottles of his L&B flavour so if you would like one to be going on with please do say and I'll hapily pop it in the post to you.

Have probs with my blue stuff too. But reading what Dee just wrote, may be I am putting to large a piece in? Mine is wedged in, so no room to mix it around. Goes off to make blue stuff smaller > > > >

Hanow have you got any wadding? Being a crafter I'm thinking you might - it's very similar to the white fluval (?) stuff - that's what I use in my carts. Again if you haven't I'll pop a piece in the post to you.

You're welcome Hanow and thank you. Haven't used the blue stuff myself, I did once experiment with a filter tip you can use with rollies but it was a bit dense and the vape wasn't especially good with it, so I stick with the wadding 2oz is about right but you can pare down the thicker weights quite easily. A small piece lasts for absolutely yonks, you can rinse it through if it gets really clogged plus it's alot cheaper than fluval which is basically the same thing - although I did see on a Youtube clip someone use a syringe to squish out all the 'waste' juice and reuse it.

Thanks for the detailed instructions, Dee I'll have another go. The blue stuff is impressive in that it seems to stay cleaner than the original stuffing. On the subject of "too dense" (I'm not talking about me, though I could be ) I made that mistake with some lovely black stuff that Lilac sent me. Must not be too dense! Keep up the good work, girls (and any boyz hanging around) scylla

Hi Perpetua, you are definately due an exalt from me I really think it is so kind of you to offer to send me some of your ejuice that you got from James. Fortunately I have some juice which which is supposed to be menthol which I like but really is a passable spearmint. This will keep me going until James come back and I can get some decent stuff. Its a really lovely thought. Ken.x

Ken, it sounds like you are looking for a good menthol but if you do like the idea of a good spearmint, then James' is your man! His spearmint is very spearmint tasting indeed

You're ever so welcome Ken As long as you can last until James returns that's the main thing, I haven't tried any menthol flavours as yet although have some of his chocolate & cinnamon to try.

Yep, I have 60ml of ejuice which is supposed to be menthol but really tastes like mild spearmint lol.
Cheers Perpetua, this should last until I make an order with James.
Ken.

Just another option if you like menthol Ken and that is Liberty Flights "Menthol Blend." It's the most cigarette-like menthol that I've found. If you smoked roll-ups, OKSmokey's Drum, Old Holborn or Golden Virginia are very good indeed - "Drum" is my favourite. I also like James's Cigar flavour - not too strong but good and smokey. Regarding burning taste, check the bottom of your cartridges to make sure they're not being burned by the atomizer. I've had this happen a couple of times with my 510s and have simply buffed the base with an emery board which seems to sort out the problem. Fox PS: The code ECR69 on Liberty Flights will get you a 15% discount.www.oksmokey.com/index.phpwww.liberty-flights.co.uk/index.aspAs a 'new' vaper you'll probably need 24mg strength to start with.
