Lanyard for the Riva

Having just one working battery at the moment, I seem to be spending more time looking for where I put my Riva than I do vaping! At least when I had two working batteries I could just chuck an atty on the spare until the first one turned up.

I'm also thinking forward to my canal boat holiday in August - I really don't want it rolling off the boat into a murky canal!

So I decided I would buy a lanyard for it. If only it was as simple as making the decision!

Has anyone else seen them anywhere for a reasonable price?

I ended up making myself one today - promise you won't laugh? I crocheted it!!! I have to be honest, it does the job but I really would prefer black leather over cream cotton though!

oh dear, maybe it was that site you linked to....but the pics didnt look like that, im sure there was only one, and it didn't have its own entry on the list on the right like it has now, but i saw it a few weeks ago, so maybe they've changed it

James sent me a natty thing with my order the other day, it was a wee sock with a lanyard attached, not sure if he has them on his website or not

That sound good Lilac. I've looked at modifying other things but it needs to retain an element of function whilst in it's holder otherwise I'll take it out to use it and be back at square one again.............

I have tried attaching a pic of the one I made today, although not done this before so not convinced I have done it right. I thought the 'laying on the counter' version would be better than the 'wearing it and look at my boobs' shot

would it be too cheeky to ask if i can have that one when you get your leather one? it'd be brill for when im at work, im always afraid i damage it while leaning over beds (the metal cotsides, lol) as it's in my pocket and i've already broke one ecig that way....

Aww thanks Hanow. It's the first time I've used crochet thread and a tiny hook. Actually, I've only been crocheting since earlier this year, so I'm still having a lot of 'first times'!

How fantastic is that - and so neat! Think we are all going to be wanting one or two. I was wondering how to transport my Riva safely, not loose it etc. If Jaki can't go into mass production - Perpy might be able to! She is so ace with knitting, sewing, crocheting etc.

Lilac - thank heavens for that admission about the hot end. After 3 weeks, I still can't get my head around the fact that it isn't going to burn anything when I put it down! Still feed the need for use of something like an ash-tray! So I will happily join you on the 'head-slapping-step'. xx

Me too, Chrissie, im not convinced it was the Heavensgifts site as the pics look different to the one i remember....

hmmmmm....someone posted a link to a supplier that was shutting down......i've looked but can't find it....wonder if it was that one?
