Many thanks for the above and pictures I am a little confused with the IPV4 temp mod I just got I use the SubTank with stock OCC Nickel coils and on my DNA 40 mod and my Vapor Flask clone dna 40 temp mod I can run the tank dry at 480 F at 22W and get zero burnt or bad hits However with the IPV4 temp mod set at 460 F at 20 J all i got when my tank ran dry was a huge mouth full of burnt cotton taste and you could smell the burning too... Someone mentioned hitting it down by 100 F and then try it, so that's what I am doing now to see if it does the same or not, but IMHO 100F is a lot in difference... But so far the vape quality is still as good at 360F but we'll see when the tank is dry how it works then;.... Just been playing with this IPV4 I have -V-, it`s looking like about 300F is a good point to start. No, it isnt anywhere near the 450F of the DNA40 and the Kangxin but it seems to be about the same point. Another thing I have noticed is that the voltage reading in use is not anywhere near accurate, it DOES alter in use, but by a very small amount which clearly isn`t accurate. It is giving the same varying voltage reading with a wet coil or a dry coil. Need to do a dry burn test on it and use different temperature settings to allow for the difference. The drying coil performance at 300F is pretty close to what you would expect from a DNA40 or Kangxin. I have a feeling it cant read PWM voltage so it is reading the same peak to peak voltage (which will remain fairly constant) . That theory makes sense with how it is performing here.

Another here that has the Yihi M class and a genuine ( ugly looking, rubber coating missing) Vaper Shark Rdna40. I use both daily, and imo they are both excellent at TC, for me the M Class is the winner, but not down to operation, just soley on build quality,
Never had a dry hit on either mods. In fact I have never had a dry hit on any of my TC mods ( Including the Kangxin clone versions)

For me it's the worst I have ever used period....! I'd love to hear your views on why it's the worst mate that's such a strong statement lol I have a dna 40 device and the Yihi mini m class as well as several other box mods and mechs now. I have not touched anything else since getting the Yihi mini m class. I look forward to your reply. richo71I don't think it does temp control well enough, I run my DNAs at temp, ie I let the chip sort the watts out. I don't think the m class can do that, it can't control the temp of the coil quick enough. Had one for a few days, only mod I have ever owned that I sent back and did not want a replacement. I'm no fan boy of anything and take no prisoners , slagged the DNA off at the start many a time, had the glitched screen, learnt how sensitive it is to the 510 and reading ohms, the mods wiring etc. but the chip itself is solid. Just my view take it or leave it.... I assume you will leave it....

Can I ask what you guys think/know about the Smy 50 TC? I dont think there have been too many takers yet kreed. The enclosure put me off along with the display and those few lonely numbers in the middle of the front/back. Be interesting to find out. I believe the price is okay though. EDIT ...................... there is a smaller SMY60 coming soon with temp control and the larger colour display. Might get one of those when it surfaces

I have the Vapor shark rdna 40 and just think the M class destroys it in every way.
On that note need to go put it up on the classifieds for sale.

I'll leave it Give it a go at 310F and 50J letsavit , it burns at 450F, seems to be going fine here all the way down to a dry coil oops soorry, just realised yours has gone back.

I dont know letsavit, I dont know whether they have the ability to fart around with the firmware when they get the chips from the makers. It`s probably just a programming glitch, but it seems absolutely fine at that temperature. Needs fine tuned a bit, could probably be 10F either way but it is performing as well as any of my other TC mods at that setting. The voltage display is wrong, possibly for reasons I mentioned earlier, the PWM method and interpretation. But the mod is working
