Which Temperature control mod? buy now? or wait??

I am keen to try out a temp control Mod I have the nickel wire, and a SMOK M80 enroute, tho further  reading has led me to understand the M80 isn't that good when it comes to the temp control.

is it prudent to hold my horses and wait for this 'new' tech to mature or is there a good offering available now..

I think your getting confused with a different mod altogether

DNA40 IMO, VapeGeek have a couple of nice pre-orders going, they may me more choice waiting, maybe Sigeli will do a good job for less money, but I don't think you will see anyone bettering the DNA40 in the next few months. YiHi took 5 months and didn't so as good job on temp sensing, ProVape are meant to be releasing a firmware update for the ProVari 3 at some unspecified time, there are a couple of high end/price manufactures working on it as well, but I don't see anything spectacular soon since it has/is taking those 2 well respected board makers so long to get their first offering out.

Just ordered the zero dna40 from anglefire mods not cheap but a 20% until midnight, well worth a punt

I just got a pre sale for dovpo mini tc mod for £26 even if it's rubbish i get an enclosure for a diy attempt in the future just gotta get some nickel wire so I can have a play .

The Kangxin mini VF is an excellent mod. the temperature control works very well on it. Got mine a few days ago after waiting for them to do a few updates on it and it is really good.

Inexpensive doesn`t have to mean crap
Forget about the SMOk 80plus, it`s a good value 80watt mod with a big inbuilt battery, but it simply does not work on temperature control.

Interesting, I see they have the Zero clone and the VF clone both been modded up with an original Evolv DNA 40 chip....

The thing that puts me right off that is that silly bulb light on the top, why of why.....

It`s not as bad as it looks, it isnt easy to turn on, you have to hold both buttons down for three seconds. I quite like it now, not overbright, handy enough wee light

Any mod with a Dna40 or kangxin chip in it depending on your budget.

Can't see how the tech can move much more forwards with the 510 connection and the atty's we use.
