I could sit down and hash out plenty of numbers that mean nothing to 95% of users or I could tell you that between the two devices it beats it hands down in real world everyday operation. It feels better, looks better and vapes better in my opinion. On wattage or temp control. I also love that fact it has mech mode as well. I love the menu set up and the little subtle differences like whatever way you look at the screen it will flip it over. I'm annoyed this device is so good because I want the excuse to buy something else I love buying new vape gear but it's that good I've touched none of my other boxes or mech mods. But believe me when I see something better come out I'll be all over it. I'm not a yihi fan boy this is the first yihi device I've used! What I am though is a vaping fan boy. When something works it works. For me this thing works. So until something better comes out and I hope it does so I can splash the cash I won't change. If you have the money make the dive you'll love it. I've made many many dives only to be dissapointed, pleased it floats your boat though Thank you me too.

Well you can't beat a technical explanation to sway opinion ! I change the temp up all the time depending on the coil I stick in there. Do I want clouds to annoy the wife do I want stealth like flavour or do I want both all down to how I feel and preference the choices are limitless as with many set ups.

Was wondering lordvaper , have you used the mod with a dripper when the wick is drying up badly. If I do it at 450F it burns the coil when dry, it works fine until the wick gets dry.

When the wick gets dry It's going to pulse now and again if you keep pushing it. looking for that last piece but I've never had any problems if it comes up that it's dry then fill it up and dont push again lol.

This device is not for everyone. It's like flavours everyone has preferences.
It works beautifully for me but may not for the next person.
All reviews I've seen online have been positive and the general consensus is people love it!
The price point for the device is high! And not everyone can throw that type of money around whenever they want.
Deep down inside for those who don't have a temp control mod/device don't worry about it as it's way over-rated anyway.
But even without the temp control this is still a great, solid, beautiful looking device with nice little added extras.

I think the mod is fine, it`s the fact that they have got their temperature settings way out. 450F on a Kangxin or Evolve is looking like about 300F on the ipv4. I`ve had mine set at 310F for the past couple of hours and it is behaving perfectly. Just a question of allowing for that programming mistake by them. 450 degrees should be 450 degees on any mod, but it really isn`t on the IPV4.

I push a button and beautiful flavoured juice fly's passed my tongue, down my throat and into my lungs then on the way back out another explosion of flavour across all three. I'm happy

Been fiddling with the M80plus while my head is full of degrees etc and the problem seems to be that the mod does not use the initial resistance reading as a reference. It takes a fresh resistance reading with every button press, so the coil gets warmer and warmer (coil resistance higher and higher) and the mod throws in more volts to deal with the increased resistance and on it goes. Once the coil cools down it goes back to normal. Maybe they hadn`t considered that people would use drippers with it, but on top of that the temperature setting still seems to be a long way out in the same way as the IPV4 is. With the IPV4, the mod has taken a ref when the coil has first been used and sticks to that as a baseline for all future button pushes until the coil is changed when it takes another reference.

That's why mine went back Really can't understand how a £150 temp mod that's 150f out can be recommend.

Somebody there really doesn`t know what they are doing, someone must have signed the mod off as okay when it clearly isn`t, although it really is working fine with about 300F as the burn setting

Who knows, if we had got the IPV4 before the Evolve and the DNA had appeared, we could very well be cursing them now

I am vaping mine flat out for Joules at 310F and topping up when the flavour mutes (dripper). Really hard to tell the difference between this and the Kangxin at 450F
