Och that is not my garden (or weather)!!! That is just the advertising splurge. My furniture is all wrapped up in its waterproof covers and sitting on a very wet deck waiting for some decent weather so that we can get it out and use it. But I didn't think you'd want to look at 4 canvas wrapped bundles of nothingness!

Enough seats for a vape meet......
And a good sized table for coiling/mixing/eating and drinking...

If you wanna grow potatoes lobeydosser, go to your local car tyre place and get some of their *waste* tyres. They are only too happy to give them away, as it costs them for disposal. 1. Put down a few on a good drainage site (pots hate being too wet) and fill with compost. 2. Plant 4 or 5 seed chits, eyes/shoots up, in each, and wait until they are growing 3-4" (75-100mm) above the surface. 3. Put another tyre on top of the ones on the ground, and fill with soil/compost up to the top leaves. 4. Wait til the leaves are 3-4" etc.... Use no more that 4 tyres in the stack. Three is probably best, but will depend on your compost, the temperature, and sunlight. All I'm saying is, you don't need to dig to grow root veg. Also. You can paint or otherwise decorate/camouflage the tyres to suit your plot.

Hi lynwlt, well counting the 2 footstool and the other numerous old garden chairs that I will now be taking to the Cowp, Yes I reckon there is more than enough room for a pukka Vape Meet!!! Thanks tim, One of the Raised Beds is earmarked for Maris Pipers and I already have 6 Potato Grow Sacks, 3 for King Edwards and 3 for Aran Pilots. These will give us a years worth of spuds + the raised bed will then be ready for my next years crops of root veg. As I am growing on a 4 year crop rotation program, what I grow and where will determine what I can grow and where the following years.

Hi tim, Yes, useful to others! I did not set out to grow so many potatoes but the supplier got my order wrong and sent twice as many as I had ordered, hence me rushing out to buy Potato Grow Bags. Next year I will use these bags to grow other crops, like Carrots and/or Salsify. Nothing goes to waste if I can help it.

lobeydosser and I have exchanged PMs and photos, but here's just one of my greenhouse, at the moment predominantly full of Broccolli!! There are a few flowers there too, and some broad beans and chillis in the early stages. Buggeration - Chrissie , jess , @anyoneelsewhoknowswhattodo! - please could someone rotate my photo through 90 degrees for me!?

Unfortunately denzil, The cost of setting up a garden these days rather negates any monitory savings we will make. I think I will have to live for another 150 years before my veg becomes cheap. Then again, all I am spending is what I once spent on fags and now save through Vaping. But just the idea that I can start of with a packet of seeds and end up with many platefuls of tasty, wholesome food is a pleasure worth cultivating.
