It does slightly chykensa lol I found at the end of the day I got a little bit of gurgling and a drip in the airholes as the tank got pretty much empty. I'm guessing that was due to loss of vacuum where the tank was so low. Was very minimal though

The second monster I got was a bit more temperamental than the first and was leaking on me when kept upright. I was wicking it just the same as the first, but it didnt behave the same as the original monster. No obvious difference that I could tell in channel depth etc. I spent 2 days re-wicking it every tank full, changed out all the orings, changed out the complete chimney....everything. Finally thought sod it, Im just going to put more wick down the channel. Problem solved. Not leaked since. Talk about going round the houses to diagnose a problem. Im now getting the same problem its vaping like a train but leaking like a sieve, how much and how far down the juice channels did you go hijack please ? Apart from that its great ive tried a few diffrent wicking methods but leave it for an hour or so and opps ive made a mess

Sorry for the delay Grandad To the bottom of chimney threads should do it For step by step This is what I do. A pinky width of cotton rolled and end pinched to thread coil. Tapper the wick ends by cutting at a 45o angle, and brush down using a finger so the thin ends dip into channel. keep wick fluffy and cut off excess tight to the chimney threads. After the good trim.... Eye how much to trim off the ends (going down to the bottom of the chimney threads should be enough) may get away with lot less. Lift the tail up and trim. Attach sleeve with wicks still dry and use small screwdriver to bring the cotton back to the channel and let screwdriver tuck in to channel, both sides and tuck in at top so the cap will clear without moving cotton again Just Prime the top and screw on cap...assemble and fill...you should get air bubbles rising until wick is fully soaked

"Life...........is just a bowl of tricks!!!!!!" Ive seen these but went for the 'shotgun' sized holes. As you and chykensa have(or will have) both you can do a comparison to which you prefer.

Yeah.......I was expecting to hear of leaking mishaps with the monster, because of the large channels, but I'm sure that can be overcome with wick experimentation......I also drilled out (enlarged) the airhole on a normal Kayfun last week & it's improved it considerably. Definitely....My first needed just a little wick to just cover the top of the channels, but the other needs a bit more.(still trying to find how little I can get away with)

Great tutorial photos hijack, I wonder if I'm not using enough cotton? Having said that my attempt today hasn't leaked so far, although it's in the garage after some gardening so I hope it's still dry in the morning before I head off to school!! I think some further experimentation is in order, but between us we'll nail this little baby. The vape on mine today has been brilliant, and the juice is old and PG-heavy, so with some higher VG I think it will work even better

So many shinies.. Should I bag one? I have a basket full of subtank mini parts... add one of these? edit - 7 days to ship - think I'll leave it for the next order.

Is the airflow still adjustable or no?? And wide open is it now a direct lung or still a MTL vape?? This I have and it keeps your kayfuns MTL but you can get more out of them, deeper juice channels and 2 adjustable air holes. The monster one linked has no adjustment and looks to be more for DTL but yet to try.. The airholes look to be excessive, it will be throttled by the intake on the deck and then the chimney anyhow. letsavit or anyone else that has this - just wondering if you had any issues with chimneys and tanks/bellcaps not fitting on this base? I was about to build a coil and have a go on my one (finally!) when I realised that none of the chimney bases I have will fit on it, and only one bellcap will fit. No tank sections that I have, or my other bellcap will go on If you have a chimney base that fits could you give me a FT linky? Just to be clear - not talking about the monster base, am on about the one linked above. Cheers
