WOW - FT Kayfun relacement base!!

It'll be interesting...............The air screw on the KFL has never seemed to do much for me, but with this having bigger channels & 2 air holes, it may make a difference..........Will let you know.............
For me, the one without air control may be a bit too much............

Am dead pleased they work well - mine haven't arrived yet!! I ordered the one with 2 airflow control screws first, then the monster one later on.

Lanner is obviously far more cosmopolitan than my bit of Cornshire - I swear they only deliver our post when there's enough to make it worth while

I've decided I'm quite happy with my KFL+ but might need a spare . All I am using tank wise past few days is the RG400 and the KFL+....

The lemo I got from classies a while back I've not even opened

I have to admit that I paid the bit extra and got it sent ePacket, so 9 days from order to delivery. I did this as I wanted them to arrive before I went on holiday. I'm sure yours will arrive soon though

Just ordered one of these to see if it can bring my kayfun out of retirement. I needed a new deck anyway so thought I might as well go for one of these as I prefer MTL

epacket here too. One base gets posted 5 days after ordering, the other 7 days after ordering, so it looks like at least 2 weeks, probably not more than 3. Sure it'll be worth it, reading the reviews on FT. Excited for when they arrive.

I can only say a massive thanks to spacey and someone else whose name escapes me for recommending these in a recent thread. At 20w, yes 20w on a Kayfun!, the airflow is huge, and with a 1ohm coil and rolled cottonwool wick, the performance is brilliant.

I was a bit dubious TBF, but now I have one installed, I will be getting busy with the other base this evening and may venture sub-ohm in another KFL to see how that performs. I can see some more use from my KFLs in the future, once I have grubbed up enough pocket-money for another couple of bases, which work out at £6.24 each at today's prices.

I'm a very happy bunny - right off to finish the bench

I'm glad the recommendation didnt let you down chykensa. I Love these bases and have got a few more on order for the rest of my KFL's.




They fit my Hcigar, EHpro, and other unnamed clones, so its a good bet that it will fit the mvapes model igual

hijack - my apologies for forgetting who else recommended these excellent bases. I will give the ones with controllable airflow a go once I get back from hols, but in the meantime I have some time spare this evening for preparing my tanks and juices ready for airline packing, so will build a .8ohm coil in the other base and give that a go too.
I will report back!

Just a 'heads up' chykensa..... I have had the odd leak with these when lying them flat. Its down to the massive juice channels they have and losing the vacuum when laid  down for a while.
There is a bit of a knack to wicking them so they don't do this.
So I would give it a test before packing it in your bag or carrying it in your pocket.


If you get a problem try this...
Cut the wick slightly longer than the center chamber and then go round cutting the corners and the excess at the top....




Until you get this...Then screw the chamber on and where it gets pulled around clockwise, just use small screwdriver to bring it back to the channel(you can feel the channel when you reach it). Then just prime the top and assemble and fill.

Haha - thanks for this hijack, it's only about 2 hours late! Just wondered why the piece of twice-folded kitchen roll which I place the odd bit of vaping gear on at the side of my laptop had changed colour, only to discover that about 1/4 tank of Lemon Sherbet had decided to move from KFL to towel.
Never mind, I'll have another go when I get back from my hols

At least you hadn't packed it yet.

It's more like a Goblin or Goliath to wick than a Kayfun.
