Ok so been vaping now for over 3 years, and always buying readymade.
I'm getting very close to the point of zero nicotine and 100% VG so is it as simple as buying 500ml of VG and some concentrates, mix the 2 at say 20% or have I got it all wrong?
if this is right or wrong could you suggest a supplier for both, so I can bookmark it
Also wondering if there is a large bottle with ml marking on it for simples like me.

Yes! .... but depending on your hardware setup, you may want to use Aqueous VG, or buy VG and purified/distilled water to thin it a bit. (Aqueous VG has already been diluted to make wicking/handling easier. Re. 20%, that would depend on the concentrate (if using a single flavour) and your taste, but in essence .... yes. Not sure if anyone is supplying in graduated bottles.... but most use a syringe. Mix up small amounts first to ensure that you like the flavour percentage, prior to scaling up. Good luck.... and about time you had a go at mixing!

Mixing your own - that's the way to go!! Can't remember the last time I bought some readymade juice, and I mix around 100ml/week working out at less than £1 per 10ml of juice; plus of course you have complete control over the mix of ingredients and the pleasure of vaping something you made yourself!

I used to use scales and found a difference in the weight/volume for pg and vg - 10g scales that went to .001g But in reality the difference is almost nothing for small amounts. Now I just use a syringe, quick and dirty. 6ml flavour, 14ml pg, 10ml 72 pg nic = 30ml @ 24mg. I only mix 30ml at a time as i like it fresh

Another trick with dessert flavours (once you have found some that you like!) is to mix average amounts regularly, ideally weekly. That way, once you have been mixing in this way for a month or 6 weeks, you have enough juice to start vaping. Continue to mix weekly as before, and you will begin to amass a stock of different flavours which are ready to vape, with others still steeping. If a friend wants to try some of your favourite, you have enough to give away a few ml, and still have sufficient stocks for personal use. I mix about 100ml each week; some of this will be for the wife, some for a vaping friend who helps with costs, and the balance is for me. I probably have the best part of a litre of juice bottled, and about half of that is ready to go. I mixed 50ml this evening, and apart from some zero nic flavour for a mate of mine to take on holiday, the rest will sit in my dark wardrobe for at least a month. That is of course on top of the 300ml which I mixed last Friday!!

You might consider investing in glass bottles, I get mine from Ampulla. If you mix your VG with 10% water it is ok with syringe needles, otherwise it's hard work.

Use 'Boots' VG(Glycerin), and use the empties to store your mixes. Good if your butt cheeks squeak.(cheap) Maybe I should apply some.
