from where im looking we have lost 3 members off this thread so why dont we just end it???? The actual figure is two aaront903, as one has re-joined under a different ID. However - anyone who leaves the forum over such an issue, it is a pity. Personally, I don't see why it appears to be so difficult to have a discussion without the need to fall out because of differing viewpoints . . . . can we not just agree to disagree and leave it at that. lexs1411 sums up my own take on the whole China buying situation. I have a choice buy or not buy from China I choose to buy from China and save my money. If something goes wrong (all good so far) then I will deal with it and contact the vendor if I did not get the answer I was looking for I would stop buying from them. Thats how I look at it.

It's really a mixed bag for me from Gearbest, fortunately I have never had one disappear, order has either been cancelled or arrived safely. GB like all Chinese vendors I have used, are guilty at times of being a little economical with the truth as regards stock levels, shipping dates etc, IMO this is a ploy used by them as they battle for our Buck. On the clone V authentic, it's everybody's personal choice what they spend their cash on. On a happier note, I received 2 istick 60w devices today which were shipped last Saturday, so 5 days from China is not too shabby. But, this order was in limbo until I PM'd isabel22 last week and she got things moving, so a big thanks to her. Sometimes when things go pear shaped, the red mist comes down and we don't see the bigger picture, sometimes when we post, it doesn't come across properly and our choice of words or phrase could be better. The above is only my experience and opinion. If you are going to read someone else's opinion and don't agree with it then fine, but at least have the decency to respect it. There has been enough damage done in the last couple of days, lets not lose any more respected, long serving members over differing opinions and experiences. As our international bargain master and resident vaping ambassador to China robby, do you know if GB have any plans to extend the range available from the EU warehouse ?

Chris has left twice in as many weeks ... I'm sure he will be back again when he cools down and realises that having a difference of opinion with someone shouldn't be taken personally no matter how heated the discussion gets.

lancashirescott "I'm not sure that argument stands, so what about the first car made, the first aeroplane etc etc just because it hasn't got a patent doesn't mean its ok to just copy some one elses work, its like promoting counterfeiting and its ok, look at Fleabay its flooded with snide this and snide that, camera batteries, car parts you name it its faked." I dont see all the different car manufacturers giving credit to the guy who invented the car etc , are they all counterfeiting? Listen, it`s not worth argueing about, it`s the world we live in, and the one we have to deal with. China has it`s way of working and we have to fit in with it to a point while hopefully trying to improve things. All I want to see is more and more vapers getting kit for a sensible price so they can stay off the fags. aaront903, I completely agree.

I am pushing them for that, but it seems at the moment they have been a bit overwhelmed even with what they have now in the EU warehouse. I believe they are recruiting staff so hopefully we will soon see more kit available. We should remember, it isn`t just vaping gear they are selling there.

Perpetua The reason I spoke up there is you cant call most of the China venders "liars", it`s just not true and an unfair representation of what has been going on. It`s not something you can agree to disagree on in my opinion. Once comments like that are accepted, it`s a slippery slope.

My last post here as its gone a bit "popcorn" No not on the form just this thread.
Everyone has a choice to buy what they like, where they buy it, and what they can afford. Any Chinese vendor that you buy from, you know you're taking a chance. Will it arrive, will it be broken, will I have to pay duty. Base that on the cost difference from our local B&M or even uk web sellers and more often than not, you hit up a Chinese site just to see how cheap you can buy the same thing.
I'd love to only buy locally but just can't afford to pay an extra £10-80 more. Even my local B&M store sells clones complete with the FT info labels still on. No BS so everyone knows it's a clone, I respect that .
I also have to add that the mark up on MANY websites here in the UK is disgusting, we all know it's come from abroad and we KNOW how much it cost !
Not a rant or a poop stirring reply it's just something I felt needed to me added.
Also am saddened that some members have left us over this, remember we are the fluffy bunny forum

MrDJ. It could well be that batteries have to travel a different route, I`m waiting on some myself from Gearbest.

Don't buy batteries from China if you need them quickly, this is of course due to air mail restrictions imposed by freight companies and airlines.

the istick was tracked but only started working this morning. up until last night it wouldnt accept the tracking number. so a bit pointless paying the extra. also noticed they charged me £2.99 delivery charge but that could of been because i changed too british express.
batteries i didnt bother adding tracking as thy were only £4 and i thought they would come from their london depot. doesnt look like it. it says sweden surface mail.

My experience of not getting a tracking number is that you can add a couple of weeks to delivery, it`s happened three times now. Hope they get there quickly

I ordered a Bellus RTA from FT on 31st October that has yet to be delivered and batteries on 3rd November again from FT which were delivered (via Sweden post) on 16th.
