Well. unless they think you re blind, or so forgetful you can't remember what you ordered, that seems unlikely. More likely the usual level of competence from GB. Haphazard.

I dont see it as incompetant when they reply stating they sent a Harvest Tank, but hey ho, ill see what tomorrow brings, and if theres not a suitable answer PP can deal with it.

That was the point. They couldn't deliberately send you an atty with a completely different logo and coils to what you ordered, then expect you not to notice. Has to be a cock up.

The fact that it's a clone of the original, at least two people have received it and the Fruit Tank is not listed on their site, makes it all seem more suspicious. I think some people might be taken in, might not even notice, but I do agree that it's such a poor clone that you'd think a company would think twice before deliberately trying to fool people with it.
I got a Subtank clone from Fastech (clearly and unambiguously advertised as a clone) that was so detailed in it's impersonation that it even had the Kangertech authentification documents, scratch cards, manual etc with it and the logos were on the coils and plastic bags inside. The authentification did not work, though (thought up until this point they had sent me an original by accident!)

The fact that it doesn't look anything like an original, has a different etched name and box convinces me that it's simply a cock up. Probably boxes with the wrong SKU number or in the wrong location in the warehouse. It happens everywhere from time to time not just in China. Let's wait for isabel22 to get it sorted.

Somebody has made a mistake or even Gearbest have unknowingly been sold a pup. I really cant believe they would be that stupid as to use pics and information for the original and then send the Fruit version. Bought loads from Gearbest and had no suspicion of any fakes and dont expect to get any. I think we are overreacting. Could be that Gearbest`s supplier (often middle men involved) couldn`t get stock and pulled a fast one. Give her a chance to explain, it`s the weekend.

I do believe this is a stocking/labelling error but in saying that I would be pished off too I was sent a fake. Also directly contacting gearbest via thier ticket system gets you no where from my experience, I only use gearbest due to Isabel being on here and helping and pay pals protection.
Get your money back guys and buy from focal or fastech.

FT is the same experience for the runaround letsavit. Focal seems to be the only one that does it reasonably well. I've had to be dishonest with FT after a problem and claim non receipt, as their response was to wait two months. And upload pics. Then a video. They wouldn't have like the video.

Me too, but give her a chance to sort it out, that is what she is here for It`s one atty and when you look at how far they have come since the early days. Yes, it`s one too many but if anyone thinks FT or any other vender including Focal are any better as regards the ticket replies, think on. It`s often Doris who has to be called in to sort it out.

just my 2ps worth here, but reading the first line of your message car147"why have you sent me a fake ......" - while a valid question, when communicating with a person with a different 1st language it may not translate too clearly, and perhaps appear rude? perhaps forming the message in short simple statements followed with a request for help may translate more clearly. and friendly. as the saying goes you catch more flies with honey... ie.. Hello i bought an Authentic dovpo harvest tank sku:xxxxxxxx. I received delivery on xx/month/xxxx the package contained a different item a "fruit tank" please see attached photos. please send me the correct item made by dovpo as soon as possible and tell me how to return the item i have received.
