..... Couple of quesetions I have a 901 - 510 adapter on this and it works grest with lr cartos, I can't get it to work with anything else I have a couple of modded carto tanks that work on everything with a 510 thread as they take standard boges, they'll not work on the SD though Any advice? One of the reasons I bought this is that it's supposed to be bombproof. I'm wary about throwing my box mod into my handbag as the body is just plastic. The Argento has no on/off switch so I'm careful with that too. The SD comes with an end cap to stop accidentally pushing the button. It also comes with a tiny lanyard that apparently you can attach to the end cap and then attach to the SD body, so when you take the cap off, you can't lose it! I think this is a fab idea.... ..... but, i've faffed about with it for hours and there is no way I can figure out how on earth I'm meant to attach it. there are holes in the SD body and holes in the end cap but the end cap holes are sort of recessed? Anyone help? P.s. it is very shiney

This should help with the lanyard:
The center pins in adapters can also sink..Try levering it up on the 510 side..

Thanks Macca, i've watched that one before and it shows how to attach the big lanyard for around your neck, it goes on to say that you can attach the small lanyard in the same way to the cap...... I don't think you can...... or I'm being very dense again

Yes sandra, i've got the little one too What I hoped to do was attach the little one to both the cap and the body so as I wouldn't lose the end cap

That silver ring on the little one is really hard to get on. What I did, eventually was to just attatch the little one to the big one, the big one I tied in knots to slip over my wrist, I cant remember exactly now, its a long time ago, I couldnt get on with the bottom button. Will go look about to see if I can jog my memory

Right had a look to jog my old memory. I didnt pull the main lanyard through both holes, I used one hole for each, instead of threading it back through the other hole, go up and out the top, with both so they have a hole each. The button will not be affected and it is a squeeze to get the cap on but it works

Ok, so are you saying you used the silver ring in the hole in the end cap and attached the other end to the main body? That's what I was trying to do but the hole in the end cap is sort of recessed so I couldn't get it, but if I know that it is possible to do, i'll give it another go Thanks x

Success 2 broken nails, but I now have the cap attached to the body! Fiddled with the centre pin and my boge tanks and dc tank are now working on the SD. I tried to put a 510- Ego adaptor on it to use an Echomiser, that didn't work. Never mind! Does anyone know if you can buy a 901 - Ego adapter? I don't mind the bottom button, it's easy to press with the joint of your pinkie finger

Yay yay yay its hard isnt it All I know is the TW adapter is the one I used one it worked with everything. Remember the Booster that came out? Well I bought one and I couldnt get that to work but guess what stoopid thing it turned out to be? Turning the battery around, why I dunno, it didnt matter which way the battery was for everything else but it did one the booster

Never heard of the booster! It confuses me that the SD battery goes in the other way round from the rest of my mods TW were out of the adapters so I got mine from Liberty flights!

The booster is shaped like the ego cone atty, you screw it on the mod then screw the atty on to it, it has a dial that you alter the voltage, not sure about other type adapters that will defo work with everything. Sorry Karma.

Relieved to hear you finally succeeded in attaching the cap lanyard, Karma - shame about the nails, though. I do agree it is a b*gger of a job but well worth it as now you won't be wondering where the cap is every time you want to use it!
I heard a faint bell in my memory when you mentioned about not being able to get an Echomiser to work so fished out both of my SDs and had a try, attached a 901 - 510 adapter then a 510 - eGo on top of it, added Echo carto and neither of them do a thing. I don't think I ever solved this one, either. As far as I know there is no such thing as a 901 - eGo adapter as a single unit, unfortunately. If there is, I've never come across one.
In the end I just settled for using the VGO cartomisers with the SDs (the VGOs have 901 threading) but even then you do still need a 901 - 808 adapter. The threads are lower than the Echomiser but you couldn't attach it to an SD without the adapter because of the shape.
