You've two choices on your adapter Ali . . .

Use your existing tank one with a 510 to 510

or

Use the one you've just recieved, with a 901 to 510


Either way, you're going to need another adapter of some description.

Ah. Perp I thought my tank adapter may have been a 901 to 510 is that where I have gone wrong all along so I thought they would fit together Maybe I am making things even mare confused. Male 510 to 510 onto tank adapter it is then.

Your Tank adapter will be a 901 to 510 Ali . . . but then you'll need a 510 to 510 to fit that . . . rather than one with a 901/808 connection.

Just had a thought I will have to buy something now to fit on my redundant 901/808D-1 I have reached the slippery slope I think lol.

If you look at macca's picture above, you can see that the 901-808/901 + 901-510 combination is shorter in total that the combination of 901-510 + 510-510 which is why I recommended it. Both will work you just have a bigger gap from atomiser to mod with the second.
It is very confusing figuring out how all these adaptors work and you don't want to have to pay postage on one little adaptor! I followed a policy of chucking the odd adaptor into any order I made with someone who had them until I had at least two of every adaptor I could possibly want LOL It has paid off though
