min order £15 but that would buy a lot of springs.... I think I'll take umbrage at that remark, Prof... (just to show that I can do it to ) You are obviously insinuating that our largely lady membership is butterfingered scylla x

Springs on the SD mk 2
The other thing to watch out for is the screw undoing its self, this has happened to me twice now, the trick is to go buy some locktite from any car shop, and just one little dob on the screw thread will stop it coming undone on it's own again, untill you want to undo it for a clean, then after just another little dob again, no more probs if you remember to do this.

Hi, Now that I've removed the button cap from my lovely looking black Mk11 Screwdriver I thought all would be well but I have another problem. Should I be able to use the same batteries with the Mk11 as the Mk 1 Screwdriver. I only bought the Mk11 body - not the full kit, so no batteries. The ones I've got are purple Spiderfire 880mAh 3.6V. The problem that I have is that it fires up as soon as I screw the battery in - no need to press the button. I've tightened up the screw as far as it will go. Do I need different batteries?? HELP - again!!

You're welcome Liz, remember they'll take about 2 weeks to arrive tho, you can buy one from TW for £4.99, less discount, if you're in a hurry

Good evening Hope you're all well! Just wanted to point out that TW have no batteries available at all for the Screwdriver and they could not even give me a rough guess as to when they will re-order them for sale on the site. I initially ordered two spare ones but got sent an email today saying that they had no stock left (even tho there were four showing as available after I'd ordered).. so feel let down by them really. The kit I ordered (hoping it will arrive tomorrow) only comes with the one battery so will at some point be forced to find an alternative supplier, looks like there are none in the UK and I feel worried beepxxxxx
