Screwdriver advice needed - please

If you are using 510s (as I've said on the other thread), you will get less battery life than with a 901 - perhaps that's it?

i wiped a very small amount of wd40 on the button end joint, and all is fine.
i am a bit worried about it allowing the whole thing too work though.

Arctic Silver, for example? I've got loads somewhere from the old days of pottering with PCs

It is a metallic conductive grease it should work on the main threads... (Tiny amount!!!)

About the same pressure as I'm applying, to pull you over to a Riva !!

with ref to the button cover:
if you get some strong 30lb ish fishing line or fishing braid is better.
take out the button screw (dont lose the spring).
thread it into and out of the 2 holes in the sd body and the same with the cap holes.
tie off with a neat knot.
you then wont lose your button cover.
if you hubby, son or grandson are fishers they will do this nice and neat for you.

Better yet, why not get an E-cig where you don't have to worry about losing springs or buttons ...... ya know, like a Riva !!

Just looked at the rest of the forum and it's major Screwdriver Overload !!

Wouldn't it be a better idea to merge all the SD threads in to one - and then get the living legend that is good ole Prof, to Mod it with his abundant experience and expertise ?? ???
