Beep - I ordered 6 from Kaidomain - China or Hongkong. If could always let you have one of those - and Liz too - and you could replace them when your arrive. Let me know.
Beep - same happened to me last night re: tech stuff. Ordered 4 - with 18 in stock at the time. I also got an email today saying that my money would be reimbursed. Naughty because it takes 3/4 days to get back to your account. Not best pleased with them myself.

Scylla, tis true, they've probably let a lot of folk down with their dubious stock-taking..
hanow, if I get stuck I'd like to take you up on your offer- no idea of how long the one battery will last. Also worried about special 'protected' batteries that come from TW- I feel very worried that any other battery could explode : ( but then again I really do worry. beepxxx

I didn't find the "royal blue" batteries that I got with my MarkI very good, not enough oomph IMO.
As for safety, I've been using Spiderfire unprotected SD batteries for many, many months with no hint of trouble.
By mistake (cos they're not meant for SDI) I did buy a pair of black GTL LR123A 1200mAh and after a couple of months or more one of those got very warm so I chucked* it. But you know when something's wrong.
*Taken somewhere for specialist disposal/recycling, not sure which - Bro takes them somewhere.

Sorry, but I don't rate the Kaidomain batteries.
I used a fully charged one & by the evening the power was close to nothing.
At first I thought it was the attie, so I tried it on a Riva battery & it's working fine.
I don't know, think the Rivatornado takes some beating to be honest. As a newbie, I think I've been spoilt with this model. So far I'm not overly impressed with SD MKII & am seriously considering getting rid of it.

Hissie - have to agree there. I do prefer my Riva and Tornado.

Hi Beeper, That was a very kind thought re: the Mk11 batteries. I've decided to put my Mk11 on the backboiler (not literally!) for the moment and sort it at my leisure. I'm overladen with bargains from TECC, my Mk1 is going strong and my GB is an absolute treasure so theres no rush to get it going. Many thanks again, Liz

do you reckon wd40 is ok for a connection, as the threads are really important for a strong current. raggy............

I vape pretty solidly through the day I would think 7 or 8 hours from a battery was pretty fair? With normal atties that's what I get from Mk 2 SD batteries, with LR atties a lot less more like 4 or 5. I've found the Kaidomain Mk2 batteries last me longer than the "official" ones do.

Prof I wouldn't say i vape solidly. So would expect a bit longer battery life. Ah maybe it's just me
