Whats the big deal with 901 atties?

Well I've tried the 901 attie that came with the SD MKII. I decided to use some TW sour cherry juice.

I've got to say, yet again I'm not impressed. Can't seem to get a decent vape & the flavour of the juice is close to flavourless.

This experience isn't the same when using the same juice with a 510 attie on the SD.

Am I missing something here?

Aye, ya right, they're crap

I went through 5 then gave up on them, they were leaking badly, and the flavour, thats another mystery. And the throat hit was negligable, they reminded me of the time when you were smoking a fag and it had a hole in it somewhere. Hard work.

Best atty ever for me is the mega 510 atty from TECC/TW. That's what vapings all about, loads of flavour, a nice throat hit, no leaking, just perfect. Anyone selling theirs?

Lol, I hated the the only 510 atties I bought from TW. For me they just didn't cut it compared to the flavour, throat hit, draw, I get from the 901/RN4075.

Ah but chrissie,

those 510s you bought sound like the normal type of 510s, and are indeed poor in comparison to the Mega atties they sell. Mind you, they should be good at the price they're asking

hissie, just wanted to say that all I've ever used so far are 901's and I have just bought the SD mk2- (I've yet to try the 510 conversion kit I got as I find everything ok for me personally).

I have noticed less flavour with the SD/901 than with my dse901! I can only assume that it's got summing to do with the bigger battery ?? beepxxx

I don't know what it is about 901 atties, they just don't suit me. Which is disappointing really especially since they get good reviews.

AS for the SD MKII, I'm considering putting up for swap if anyone is interested.

Yes, Beeps, the hotter the battery = (usually) more hit, less flavour.

I'm a middler like Lilac as I like both, the 901 gives a gentler draw to me, have been using a LR 901 with my SD and it gives a lovely vape.

I prefer the balance of hit/vapour/flavour with the 901/4075, but if/when you want more hit and have a 901 device (eg SD Mk2) I'd strongly recommend LR901 atties - I like them better than 510s myself

If you buy the "901s" that TW sell, then you are using RN4075s, not actually 901s. I prefer the 901s, many people prefer the 4075s, it's personal choice but it is very confusing when 4075s are sold as 901s, quite incorrectly.

Certainly the LR901s will provide more hit, but the flavour should be equally good across them all.

In my experience, I get less flavour out of a 510, but more throat hit (depending on batteries used and resistance of the actual atomiser).

As with all things vaping, it's so individual, the best thing always is to try as much as you can, and select what works best for you.
