The fairly obvious question will follow shortly, but first.
I would like to thank the forum in general, well over a year since I quit smoking and started vaping, this forum was a great (if expensive) help in achieving that. I eventually worked out I only needed the most simple set up and plain old tobacco tasting juice to survive. I drop by and have a read sometimes, but no longer click on the links to exotic flavours and high end hardware.
Now the question, first trip abroad since vaping leaving from Birmingham airport. Obviously as we all know I need to take the vaping kit I need. Also as we all know I need the back ups and the back up back ups. Does anybody have any experience of what can be packed in hand luggage, and suitcase without causing problems. Initial destination is Spain.

This is very annoying, for my own convenience I had stereotyped the entire forum as shell suited and permed. I may now have to start thinking of you as individuals, or at worst small collectives.
Personally I missed hipster trousers, I was busy striking a God like pose in Loon pants and a cheese cloth shirt, I half recall beads being involved as well. Didn't put much work the barbers way either. The Loon pants are long gone, I do still have the God like pose these days it is protected by a few stone of 'winter conditioning' so is not quite so apparent.
On the sensitivity issue, I doubt I would be much use if I don't know the meaning of something I am called I go to the default position of assuming its a compliment. If i do know and it was formally used offensively, I then assume its meaning has changed to that of a compliment.

I'm far to new at vaping to have anything as advanced as 'vapours tongue' and thankfully am a bit younger than 78. I do however have days when 'nothing' really hits the spot taste wise and it can be disappointing and frustrating. I tend to share Lobeydosser's view that as long as I am getting the nicotine hit to keep of the fags that will do. When I read what some of you vape, I shake my head in disbelief that it could possibly work, then having said that I am currently vaping Grapefruit and shaking my head at myself.

I have been researching the return address, quite illuminating. Presumably you have also done a Google (other search engines are available) search on it? Why illuminating Please tell?  Not sure I want to be messing with the Triad. However one might suggest gently unpicking the 'foam' might uncover something with a street value of thousands of pounds. A video of the 'unpicking' would be worth a watch if nothing else. |

The thing i worry about is the fact that if we keep getting these attacks at this frequency, it wont be long till we all become numb to it. It become just part of life. Im sick of seeing governt saying we need to stay strong etc. I dont wanna hear that anymore...what i DO want to hear is how the hell they are going to sort this mess out Same here Oh well then let's just carry on as if nothing has happened Absolute crap! They have suspects supposedly being watched so just get rid of them or publicly hang them. Anything but just ignoring it FFS The principle is sound, but given that there are currently 23,000 known candidates, thats a lot of hanging. Sadly I think however much we might wish to avoid it we are already engaged in a war of ideologies. At some point we need to morally bankrupt ourselves and deal with it. I will miss the thin veneer of civilization we have had for a few decades but think its days are numbered. |

So this weekend provides the first real test of my resolve, four days away from my Vaping base camp. What to take? how much backup? Will I need a generator and petrol in case of power cuts to recharge batteries? What flavours, given I am no nearer to having an all day vape than when I started, so many dilemmas.

Surprisingly I got an email back, in which he (after some weak excuses) accepted it could be misleading, and would change it. I had a look a few minutes ago and honestly don't think the alterations really make it clear. If you are selling one coil, you put a picture of one coil. If you must put a picture of a pack, you put printing over the picture saying price is for a single coil. I suppose on a positive note, he did do something.

I suspect your knowledge is greater than mine on these matters. Maybe somebody will give a third opinion. Funnily enough, I looked at the coils earlier and thought what a great price they were! Then came to the conclusion that the price was for a single not pack of. Having not long taken a transaction to a PayPal dispute/claim for exactly the same reason - I paid an epic £12.55 for 2 teeny single coils genuinely thinking I was buying packs! ( PayPal gave me a full refund incidentally as I contested the transaction on the grounds of the listing being misleading.  )  So it's certainly worth checking before diving in Village Idiot . . . . . . I can confirm from the slightly less than 'customer friendly' reply I got, that the price is per coil, I have replied suggesting he makes this clear on the website. Given that maybe I should give praise to PurePerfection who I bought some from the other day, admittedly in the sales madness. They worked out at a little over £2 for a pack of 5, he rang to say he had not got 2 of the other bits I had ordered which had cost 60p each and substituted them with packs of coils. I know which one gets my custom in future. |

Village Idiot I think that price is for 5 coils, not 5 packs of coils. I might not have set it out that well, but if you look at my maths again you will see I have allowed 5 packs of 5, buying 5 packs is what drops the price per pack to £1.50. I think they are £1.75 for a single pack of 5? |
