I've got Crohn's and IBS, and vaping doesn't seem to have affected me at all so far.
Boo, please go and see your GP, just to rule out anything nasty.

I know that this won't be a stupid question, cos I'm asking but I still feel a bit stupid asking this as I work in IT . Here goes! Does it make a difference what you plug the USB charging adapter into? For example, I read on here recently that you shouldn't use a laptop USB to recharge your batteries, could someone tell me why? If I'm using a plug adapter to connect the USB charging adapter, should the voltage and amps match what's on the USB charging adapter? I'm having a few problems at the moment, and don't want to bother the vendor in case I'm doing something numpty and someone else can learn from it .

I'd tried to give up using patches, inhalators, going cold turkey, chewing gum (yeuch) and failed. I have various health problems, and what smoking was doing to me was brought home when I developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in my foot following a minor op. My recovery time for that op was a lot longer than it should have been to. It didn't stop me smoking though . Mr Fan and I got Chloe, our dog, and made the muttering noises about stopping for her sake. It still didn't happen. About two months ago, we decided that we'd had enough of our neighbours on the one side of us, and that we wanted to move. Mr Fan started to redecorate and still we smoked. The I saw the e-lites advertised in a TV mag, sent off for them and enjoyed them! I had a couple of stinkies as I still had a packet to use up and boy, did they taste bad. And the rest, as they say, is history, we've not looked back and I never thought I'd stop smoking. Since getting the Riva I haven't had a stinky, and I'm not missing them.

Chocolate with lavendar, sounds horrible but is really quite more-ish.
I also put a few squares of dark chocolate in when I make a chilli con carne. Mr Fan says it's the best he's ever tasted.
Not really a flavour combo, but I love coleslaw with my chilli, the cold creaminess works really well with the hot spiciness.

You can stop the junk that Royal Mail gets forced to shove through your door (it pays for the managers) by visiting this link www.royalmail.com/you-home/controlling-your-mail That has the details of how to stop it Make your postie happy it will They hate it, but, it is a very cheap form of advertising for local businesses, and then we get the council leaflets, and the government leaflets...........the posties really do hate it, extra weight, - an easier sort, but a more bulky slower round for them! Please bear in mind that you have to do this every few years - I think it's every two years? Obviously RM think that we all move house every two years, grrrr.

The vet said that she has an irritated upper respiratory tract (basically a canine sore throat ), her heart and lungs are clear and that there's no sign of any infection, thank goodness. What's caused it is still a bit of a mystery, as there are so many things that are suspects! She's been given a steroid injection, and I have instructions from the vet to buy a certain cough medicine , and the dosage to give her. Bless her, she was her usual well-behaved self with him, but she wouldn't let him have a good look down her throat - it's about the only thing she won't let him do.

debb72, yes you are mad! Four is the most I'd consider, but then I'd need to move house and buy a far bigger sofa > . Chloe's got an appointment with her Uncle Byron tomorrow evening, so I'll let you know how she gets on.

Thanks folks, I use Advocate on her which does treat for lung worm, but I've just googled and we are apparently in a hot spot area, and she does tend to eat a fair amount of grass. I'll pop her to the vets to see if he can hear anything in her lungs.

Our springer Chloe, has started to cough a little in the evenings over the past two days. As we used to smoke in the same room as her, I was wondering if it's her lungs clearing, the same as happens to humans? She isn't coughing a lot, so I'm not sure if it's a furball or what, but it is different to normal. If it continues for a few days more then obviously she'll go to the vets, but I'm trying not to be an over-protective mummy at the moment.
I wondered if anyone else noticed the same thing? She doesn't really do other dogs (ex working springer), so I'm not sure if she'd have caught a cough from another dog. She does cough on walks as she tries to swim and drink at the same time (silly moo) but that stops pretty quickly, but it's the same sort of cough.

Ah, the Windows support calls I do have fun with, I work in IT and have a laptop, a desktop and a tablet PC, so when I get those calls, I keep on asking them which computer, to which I've never yet had an answer. Their script doesn't seem to be able to cope with that one . Well, it keeps me amused and stops some other poor person from being bothered! The PPI/insulation ones I tell them that I've already claimed or that I've been assessed in the past week and found to have enough insulation (that bit's true) and to please stop calling me. Funny how those calls have dropped off it recent weeks.
