I can't go to vapefest as I'm working all weekend  it will also be the first pride in years that I've missed. Which bars allow vaping? Polari (downstairs under VIA - so presumably Via do as well as it's the same owners), and Icon, on Richmond Street. Quoting my own post here just to add another Manchester Village bar; the Molly House (also on Richmond Street) allows vaping inside. I am so happy, this is my fave bar in the whole village. Anyone fancy a mancheter mini-meet sometime? |

Alan, these things are pretty easy to recoil and rewick when you have got the hang of it and when successful you can spend that £5 a pop on something else more interesting. £5 a pop? I only paid £2.99 each from vapeescape for mine.  What is the purpose of dismantling them? I have successfully cleaned mine out by flushing with hot water without dismantling them. |

I took a piece of the foam out of one of the cartridges and it looked familiar - I've just realised what it is - it's the same stuff used as a filler for quilt-making. It's a fairly stiff fibrous, loosely-matted sort of thing. So I might take a trip to my local craft shop tomorrow and see if they have anything similar.

I suspected as much. In that case I'd like some advice on re-using the cartridges. They have an ordinary looking atomiser with a plastic cartridge that fits over it; in the end of the cartridge is a foam pad which holds the juice. The problem with them is they don't have enough foam in them, so they hold a very tiny amount of liquid, no more than 3-4 drops. I thought that by putting more foam in them they could hold more juice. I found some synthetic stuffing (the sort used to stuff soft toys) and it works fine for a little while but as it dries out it starts to taste burnt. Do you know what might be a better substitute?

I have a couple of cig-alikes from Steamlite. They have a smaller fitting than the 510. Does anyone know what size cartos will fit them? Is there a standard size for this type of cig? I'd rather get refillables than the overpriced nasty cartridges they supply.

That's what happened to my first Ego-T. I took it back to the shop and the salesman sort of prised it up a bit, and it's been working fine ever since. Turned out I was tightening the charger too tightly and pushing the inner battery down too far.

I stopped more or less straight away, though I was only smoking 10-15 a day. The only blip was in the beginning when I had only one battery which didn't last all day (I'm often out from 8am to past midnight). Once I got a second battery it was enough to last the day and I haven't touched a death-stick since.

8. I can vape in a pub (sometimes)
9. The gadgets satisfy my Inner Geek
10. When someone asks me if they can scrounge a cig off me I can say no without feeling guilty

I decided to give it a go and re-filled it with menthol. There's still a coffee taste in the background but it's not so bad. Coffee and mint go pretty well together anyway. |

I bought and tried a flavour (capuccino) that I decided I don't like. I've tried flushing the carto out with hot water but it still smells of capuccino. Is there any way to get rid of the smell so I can use the carto for something else? Or is it doomed for the bin?

I might try blending my flavours too, now that I have a few. I already mixed menthol and watermelon in the same carto by accident, but it turned out quite nice anyway.

I ordered three 5ml samples of Pink Spot juice and they arrived today: Cinnamon, Big Red (also cinnamon-ish) and Frozen Lime. Fired up three Boge cartos to try them out and all three are yummy. But the Frozen Lime in particular, its like vaping pure heaven, I LOVE this one.
Right now I'm on the plain cinnamon one though. It's making me feel like I'm inhaling Spice. (Dune reference).
So to make this a legitimate question thread, what amazing new flavour have you discovered lately?
