Totally privileged and abused many substances, but I couldn't help but like her for her honesty, and her attempts to get 'down and dirty' with the peasants. RIP. |

When we were young we always wanted to be older, as we were classed as being too young for the things we wanted to do. Then life creeps up on you, and you're ticking the last (or nearly last) age option box on various forms. Where has it gone, and can I start again please, knowing what I know now! |

My hair is the only part of my body that has still got some life in it, the rest has given up. Plus it's the closest I can legally get to attractive ladies, as they cut my hair, without being arrested. I just have to careful they don't catch me watching them in the mirror. To be fair, they know I'm harmless.  |

Hi Jane @johanino , I would have starved by now without my halogen oven, although they do take a bit of getting used to, regarding times and temperatures, but you'll soon get used to them. Any recipes on 'ready meals' I treat as a 'fan oven' for temperatures, but even then it will probably mean a few failures until you get used to it, but at least you can see how it's doing through the glass bowl. This is probably the safety feature, where once the lid is open, it powers off. Can I suggest you do a 'Google' for 'Halogen Oven Recipes' which will keep you occupied for ages. My biggest problem is when I do something in the 'oven', plus something on the hob or grill which needs to be ready at the same time... then you'll see Basil Fawlty thrashing his car! |

The only birthdays that stand out were my 21st, was working away and living in digs and my landlady apparently put me to bed. Still wonder if she took advantage of me, she was nice! The next was at 40 when I realised my marriage was over, not one to remember. And more recently at 70 last month. Some very mixed feelings reaching that milestone. Was also kidnapped by my offspring and taken for a lovely meal. They know I hate fuss but it was a great evening. I guess every one now is a bonus so I'm not counting. So tsoko all I can suggest is do what you want, just make sure that you're still around for the next one. |

I placed an order at the beginning of December from ReJuiced (not the first) and fully expected it well before Xmas. Not so, nothing arrived so I advised them of this, and they said that a replacement was on it's way. Give it a week, and still nothing. getting a little p****d now, Xmas gone, and just running on fumes from old bottles. New Year, so thought let's just move on, because if I were them I'd think this customer is having a laugh. Anyway, contacted them again, and in their usual polite way informed me that my orders were being returned by RM as 'not called for'... i.e. the postie had just returned them to the sorting office without the usual 'red card' to say he couldn't deliver. As their packages are 'letterbox friendly' I thought this strange. Cut a long story short, they sent a THIRD package yesterday, and it dropped through the door within 24 hours. So, two things here, many thanks to Jenna & Rachel for not giving up on me, and I hope the temp postie over Xmas now realises there is work involved in a 'job'  |

Thanks everyone  Just got back from a family celebration, where they embarrassed me with the waitress, at the end of the meal, coming through the restaurant with a birthday cake, and everyone singing HB... the buggers! Wanted to hide under the table. |
