Great news, just get yourself to B&Q and replace the slats. We might just make do for now as we will be downsizing to a one bed home so wot have a spare bedroom. Might get a fold up one so she can still stay over. |

So glad you enjoyed yourself Raff. You are so right about watching the kids open their presents. It is by far the best bit of Christmas for me to get a big hug, kiss and a thank you. Then knowing you must have got it right as they play with your prezzie most of the day.  Yep... It was quite easy this year, especially with Liverpool at the top of the league (at the moment!) They've both had trials recently at Liverpool & Everton. Keeping my fingers crossed that I could be a Grandad kept in the lifestyle he'd always dreamed of.  Oooops how exciting Raff! Yes, it would be wonderful to have a rich grandchild to look after you! I keep telling mine to make sure they listen to etcher and grow up to get a good job so that they can buy nanny a big house LOL... my little mate reckons she will only buy me a pink one!  |

I have been kicking myself all day not being able to take advantage of the sales. I wanted to treat myself to a new sofa and other bits of furniture, but until I know the lay out of our new place it would be silly to do it. Are you definately now moving Dolly? Definitely moving but still haven't viewed that place I posted about last week. Even if we don't take it we will have two other offers to consider so it would be daft to buy anything right now. Such a shame missing out on the bargains though  |

Talk about give with one hand and take with the other! Granddaughter is staying with us tonight. Mr Dolly goes to make up her bed only to find she must have been jumping up and down on it yesterday and has broken the slats on it. Little minx! Easy come easy go I guess.  |

After all the hullabaloo of the day and family gone home happy, full of food and drink and kids well pleased with their prezzies, I decided to have a gin and tonic and have a go at Tombola bingo. Just won myself £340!!! Woohoo! That's prezzies and dinners all paid for out of that so I've had a free Christmas. Happy days  Hope everyone had a great time. I know I did. |
