I should just stick to box mods in future! Need to sell this one and have had a few bites in other locales, just have no idea what I should be asking for it? Any sensible suggestions from those more knowledgeable?

A stack of Dremel tips for you: Immediately get a drill press vise or similar, only about £5 but will save many fingertips. Buy genuine Dremel mandrels, about £1.50 each but just buy generic cutting disks by the bucket load. I have tried every make and they are all roughly the same, sometimes one last for ages other times they shatter on the first cut or when you drop them Get a few different sized collets about £1 for 3, allows you to use other makes of drills and grinders/polishers. You will quickly collect 100's of cutters, grinders etc but only really use a few. Buy them cheap and then get higher quality versions of the ones you actually use. Screw a hook into the ceiling behind your work space and hang your tool from a bungee cord or even two if you are sitting down. Keeps your work space clear and gives a good angle for your flexible shaft. Wrap around safety glasses, you will find you are often working with your eye directly on the cutting line and the tool surprisingly close to your face. Hope this helps.

Yeh sorry, 70% PG (thin) with 30% VG (thick). The more VG you have the more vapour you get but it's also thicker and slower to wick and more chance of burning. I use CE5's a lot and they are fine with up to 50/50 but I prefer 70/30 in a carto. Remember, keep your wick wet!

I have been using the same Riva 1100 kit for 8 months now with CE4/5's at home and cartos when I'm out. Wouldn't mind an Evod or Nova but have never tried them so don't miss them. Being very skint helps to avoid collecting the shiny things

I used to get this chaining with heavy VG juice. Now if I'm driving I use 70/30 or higher and putting the damn thing down now and again can also help

I have found that it's a build up around and behind the button and that's where you need to clean. I took my Riva apart and cleaned it with brake cleaner but now I just switch them off and flush them with that or alcohol. I guess you could use anything that evaporates cleanly. Ideally you would ignore me and get some real advice from a grown up

That's not a bad deal there, especially with your voucher.
Maplin or eBay are good places, look for 'rotary tool' or 'hobby tool'
I think one of the best buys for me was the flexible drive shaft, makes life a lot easier.
Closely followed by chuck bore adapters which allow for use of different size bits.
You can pick up kits of grinders, cutters, polishers etc for a couple of quid almost anywhere.

After the lack of enthusiasm for my wheelie bin mod I though I would try something a bit smarter. Sticking with my theme of office / table top vapes.
Ducati999w by sortedphoto, on Flickr Spec: Protected 1200mah 18350 battery under the tank.
510/ego connector in saddle. Amber LED in running light. Fire button in off side fairing. Working side stand. 0-60 in 3.7 volts! Am pretty sure it would look better with a nova in the saddle but CE5 is all I have I want to keep making more but I'm skint so this will be up for sale in the mod shop as soon as I figure a price. Need to fund my next one and maybe buy a nova

Admirable show of restraint there Gjdart, I would have been compelled to point out a few of his shortcomings to him. I'm sat here trying to imagine what kind of loser would apply for that job in the first place? Looking through the jobs section of the paper when you spot it and think 'that's the job for me, I hope I get it'.

Hiya Bazzer, I am more than happy to have a look at fixing it if you want to stick it in the post.
Won't cost you anything more than a jiffy bag and postage.

Here is today's effort, a humble wheelie bin. 510 connection and an 18350 battery. Tactile switch and a flashing red LED. Do not try this at home! It's a real pain trying to stuff it all in through one end Wheeliebinw by sortedphoto, on Flickr Not the sort of thing you would want to cart around in your pocket but makes a nice functional desk toy
