I ordered from RTS with a shipping adress in London - Your nice customs people wanted import VAT, which is fine with me, but they miscalculated in my favour and I did not complain too loud.
Right now the parcel is on is way to me and it will be here tomorrow, then I can have a look at the paperwork.
There seem to have been no problem with the amount or the nature of the nic base, just the value was high enough for them to look into it.

The stuff is relatively cheap, doesn't go bad and some idio^M^M^M^M caring people are trying to cut my supply chain. I am responsible for my wife and myself - and I have a large cellar. Yes, 4 litres, and I will order more.

I am glad they processed my 4 liters just fine =) Vendors without the necessary equipment for pure nicotine use those US nic dealers, too. It's not just us DIYers. But yes, people are stocking up and it is a good idea in my opinion.

FA have some very potent tobacco style flavours (Start with 2%, 10ml goes a long way): Dark Vapure, Latakia are cigary, dark, toasty, ashy flavours that work well in giving "meh" liquids some oomph Royal and RY4 are the fillers - blonde tobacco, more like a cigarette. RY4 with vanilla and caramel, but you knew this =)
They work well in a team, and they steep well, especially the Latakia, it gets stronger by the week =)

Just use the VG and the flavouring for a quick test. Water is not necessary and the flavouring will thin it down enough to vape it. Before you mix it, do a quick lick test with the flavouring. It needs to taste very strong to be suitable for us.

Yes, I am in Germany, and I ordered this all in one go (Its their smallest "bulk" amount). I had it sent to London, though, and I will have it forwarded to Germany from there. Paying import VAT and customs duty is normal for me, I always add it to my calculations. German customs inspect every single parcel anyway, no "slipping through" for us. And I doubt they would let 4 liters of 60mg through. They have no legal reason to confiscate it, but they always try and it is bothersome.

But they won't be able to ban tobacco leaves - which we can steep into our own tobacco flavour. I am stocking up myself, just ordered 4 liters of 60mg VG base from RTS vapes - they don't have 72 or 75, unfortunately.

The list is missing fruity tones for my liking and I don't know how your tobacco is, the RY4 is meh, so I'd try something a bit exotic: Good amount of coconut with some aniseed and a hint of either licquorice or walnut. If the tobacco is strong enough without tasting too "green" or "grassy" try a tobacco walnut with a bit of dulce de leche and a drop of something sour, even a drop of vinegar.

I am using around 60ml a week, too, depending on where I work that week. If I am at home (home office) its more like 10ml a day, if I am at a customer's its more like 5ml a day. I vape all sorts of strengths - 0mg to 9mg when at home and up to 45mg when I am in stealth mode or relying on smoke breaks.
I use RBA, though (Kayfun, Odysseus, Chalice on a REO), and they use at least twice the amount I would go through with an Imist or ego.

My last batch of Vanilla Custard (100ml) lasted for three weeks. Can't have custard shortage, I now have 20 50ml bottles dedicated for it - let the mixing commence!

That plastic bag with the invoice on the outside is exactly what we try to teach the vendors to do for shipments to Germany. They are mandatory for import.
You see, in Germany every single parcel is being evaluated by the customs, and you will have to visit your next customs office (30 miles for me) and show them an actual invoice and paypal or credit card statement for the purchase if the parcel doesn't have an invoice on the outside.
A customs officer told me: "You know, we are not stupid. Why would a known vendor in Hong Kong send you a "gift" with a value just below the threshold when he postage fee is higher than the value?"
A false customs declaration is a criminal offense, btw.
I wish you people would stop asking overseas vendors to do that. They lump us all together "It's in Europe" and it creates real problems.
At the moment I am trying to get a parcel with several hundred Euros worth of vape gear (All my 4 REOs, coming back from the mod maker after repairs) from the customs - it's been sent on the 30th of November 2012, marked as a "$18 gift" and it is still not clear if it is allowed to enter the EU. After my "attempted tax fraud" they are now having a lab examine the goods and see if they can find wrong CE signs or missing registration numbers. If they find anything wrong, the parcel will be destroyed or, if I am lucky, sent back.
You might think your customs is bad - but you seem to be very lucky from what I read here.
