Hi all,
I've posted a few times and I'm starting to get fairly well setup in terms of fiddling around with carto's charging things up and generally trying stuff out. Been off the rollies for about 3 weeks now - that's flown by !
My question is that the missus has seen me go from 25-30 rollies a day to nothing and she's got intrigued, but despite me saying there's a fair bit involved she's not having it. Just wants something that can be filled up and off you go for the day. No dripping cartos, atomisers or any of that. (I think it's her job, they don't really approve of ciggies at all, so she has to be fairly low-key).
I've only used the clearomiser that came with my Riva kit (Vision Ego I think) and didn't really like it, so I don't really know which ones work best for that kind of subtle, easy maintenance, not too big setup.
Would the Kanger T3 be the best route ? Are they a bit large when fitted on a Riva battery for a crafty few vapes and mostly are they going to leak all over the place ?
BTW, she's having the Riva kit, I'm going to get myself some new batteries and carry on with my cartos so that's covered.

Good luck.
My missus is the same I think, she doesn't like the faffing about with all the cartos.
Hope it works out. Keep off the stinkies till that nova arrives !

I have the same kit Lozzy and my clearo is the same one, and I get the same problem (although to be honest I use cartomisers more and I bought an atomiser as I can't settle on having that much liquid in one container). I just have a load of RY4 in my clearo for the odd occasion when my carto goes and I'm driving to work.
I 'personally' think you just need to occasionally give the drip tip a swill under the tap. You might have a dodgy one, but if it's anything like mine it's rock solid, and just the way that particular clearo is ? I've alos tried taking it apart and cannot get the bottom piece of it's so firmly built.
If you do sort it out and it's not what I'm suggesting, then sorry, but I started same time as you and I like to see how things work out so keep us posted ?
EDIT : You don't pour the liquid down the small metal tube mate. You put it down the side of the clearo. Don't want to tell you that if you know, but I saw it in your post.

I've got some of this and it tastes like a nice glass of Bailey's. Lovely of a Friday night, about this time

Is that genuine ? Seems too good to be true to give away all that stuff. (I'm from Yorkshire - always a bit suspicious about free lunches).

Seeing a moaning skiver who'd rather sit in a hospital bed with a minor ailment than do anything worthwhile always struck me as pretty funny - if a bit immoral.

I think there has been a whole shed-load of newbies here in the past couple of weeks lovin' theirs also. Hey! It's just one great big Riva love-in here! I wonder if it's New Year resolutions and that ? My Riva kit is great. I must admit I've gone for baccy flavours more than the fruity stuff, but I think next month (roll on pay day) is going to be a decent set of samplers of fruit/sweet flavours cos the baccy flavours are a bit too much like ciggies and I reckon it's not helping in the long run. I was thinking of getting some stuff from 'Alchemist Cupboard' as they have good reviews but they don't seem to do samplers

You're right. I thought they were cartomisers, but you're right they're the pre-filled cartridges.

:/ good news is its pay day tomorrow and going on a mad liquid spend and treating myself to a mini nova Lucky. I've blown my spare cash until the end of the month. Mind you I have a decent stock of liquids now so I'm pretty set for a while. (I reckon I already have enough liquid for about 2 months at current use ) I do like working out which new liquids and bits 'n' pieces I can try next month though with the money I was spending on rollies

Hopefully it's nothing to fret about. I must admit, today it's still quite bad, and it seems to be heading up to my sinuses as well. I just need some sleep though. Sick of coughing intermittently all night That idea of honey sounds quite good. Cheers all.

I'm only a noob to this malarkey, so I'm still hooked on baccy style flavours, but I got 2 bottles of El-Toro in less than 48 hours. Pricey (I think it was 15 notes for 2 10ml samplers with postage), but they're pretty good.
The Triphammer Temptation & Hedges from *someone* (don't know if we're allowed to mention names) is pretty sweet as well. Tastes like a really nice mellow cigar.
My missus is going to try vaping this weekend and I'm lining up that Triphammer T&H as one to show her how nice the flavour is.

Hi all,
I've been off the ciggies now for about 8-9 days but I'm having a real problem with my cough. At first it just felt like I was coughing up 'gunk' and that passed. But now I just cannot shake this tickly cough that isn't a hacking fit, just a brief cough, but it will not clear up and I can't seem to get rid of it. It's even causing a problem sleeping as the tickle just means I have to cough every few minutes.
Is this common at this point ?

Thanks all. Loads of good tips here. I've just come back from a Burn's night do and didn't have a single ciggie Unbelievable really that after a week I can go out to a pi55 up and not have a cig. I was even vaping in the main room where the party was going on with 150 people - nobody actually minded which I was impressed by, although it was mostly friends. This vaping is great.

So confusing this stuff, so much to learn.
