Hi Spikey,
I've been doing some reading on a US forum and there was someone having the same problem as you have. Don't know if it's any use, but the suggestion was to get some juice with 'whole tobacco alkinoids' in it. I suspect that's just something that has real tobacco in it ? Dunno if it's any use, but might be worth considering ?
I have a few bottles of real tobacco juice that I try to vape a bit when I'm down the pub which sit pretty well with a pint and really cut out the cravings so maybe that might help ? (I don't know if I can mention the particular supplier, but if you PM me I can let you know the ones I have)

Levanti, I wouldn't worry too much. You're heading in the right direction.
I've had the odd few on a Saturday after a few beers and I kicked myself afterwards, but then go back to vaping and just carry on. Compared to the 180+ I'd normally have in a week, having a couple in the first few weeks/months is no big issue.
Compared to going cold-turkey, when ALL you can think about 24 hours a day for weeks on end, and then still cave in, my personal view is just relax and enjoy the fact that vaping is a pleasant way to quit the tabs and see what happens.

They just got left in a box in the cupboard with the lids on. They've definitely improved. Much better flavours (or maybe it's my sense of taste has got better?).
I'll def try the Champagne mate ! Sounds right up my street.

To be honest I didn't really try much of the flavoured stuff apart from when I first got it and my tastebuds were still knackered so they didn't taste of much at all. I was just vaping menthol and tobacco stuff pretty much constantly because of my cravings for a rollie and I was really ill with withdrawal - shakes, dry throat, really nasty cough and a really bad mood. I'd really had enough, but I think/hope I'm through it now.
By the time I tried the Grizwald stuff in the last few days, they'd been left alone for 2 weeks (ish) and they taste great now.
I've got my eye on some champagne flavours - there's one in particular with a Strawberry in it. What do you reckon to it ? Nice ?

Hiya Lozzy ! I see you've got yourself sorted with that Mini-Nova Glad you got through that dip (I had one over the weekend where I was swearing like a trooper saying it was all pointless) I'm on Cocomel from Grizwald (yum) - with the odd menthol break.

No, she doesn't smoke 'real' cigs so it's a non-starter.
I reckon I have all the info I need, especially as some people with similar situations have suggested stuff. It's tricky for me, because I couldn't care less what things look like, but I know she worries about that sort of stuff.
1 x Ego 340 for work 2-3 x Echomiser for ease of use 1 x Ego Q for nights out
Some juice - she likes the HS Delight that I have so I'll stock up on a bottle of that. (To me it's too reminiscent of ciggies, I always have an hour of craving a ciggie after vaping it)

Hi Edge, welcome onboard. Tip one;- Get a safe. Tip two;- Put your wallet into that safe. Tip three;- Throw away the safe key. Or you will end up like me. "Only" spent £288.89 in the last 19 days, all on vaping equipment that I don't need, but I read about it on this blasted forum!!!!! [/IMG]
That is sound advice there. I've come to the conclusion that you can get quite carried away with vaping. I've only been doing it a few weeks and I've spent about £100 (granted I have a load of liguids), but I can see how you can get drawn in. I'm currently trying (not that successfully) to not look at a Vamo when I get paid this week and which new flavours to try. Damn you Vamo shinyness ! *shakes fist *

Both the Ego Q ans the very cute dinky 350 will work with those echomisers without an adapter, they are both 510 fittings and will be fine with the charger you have, although if both of you are vaping, you probably need another charger Nice one. I actually have another charger which I got as a backup so I think we're good to go. (She, typically, did like the flower-patterned batteries by the way)

I'm not really too worried about what ecigs look like, but I suspect The Boss may be so these are all good suggestions. I reckon that dinky 350mah may be a good idea. My 'orders' are to find something primarily that "doesn't leak all over the place" and is not too big, combined with easy to fill so she doesn't have to fanny about with loads of kit. She's not fussy, just typical Y-Chromosome things In fairness, I reckon I have only one/two chances to get this right, because she's quite self-conscious and if I don't get it right it'll be one of those "Not for me" type situations. (She's told me that it's something she wants to do, but is worried people will laugh at her if she has to start using bottles/syringes/dripping/etc. - did I mention she works with fools?) One thing about both those batteries (The Ego-Q and the 350), do they need a special adapter or do you get them working with a generic charger ?

The echomisers look perfect Karma ! I think that's the one. Nice and subtle with big capacity. Perfect I reckon. On the other hand I am not buying girly looking things Flower-patterned batteries can wait until I've got her off the ciggies then she can go off and spend money like it's going out of fashion as per usual.

I just read Lozzy's thread further down and she seems pretty happy with that Nova. Maybe that's the way to go. Cheers for all suggestions - off to do some research

I cant really taste anything though i do feel the throat hit. My sense of taste and smell have been pretty poor for years, maybe this will change if i can stay off the tar filled terrors! I had that for quite a while. All the flavours I had just tasted 'sweet' rather than anything specific. The only ones that cut through it were menthols. I've been back to some flavours that I tried when I first started it's incredible how different they taste. Tastebuds rebuild amazingly quickly, and you get all the subtleties of the flavour after a time.

My Mrs started off on a 650mah ego-c + CE5 rebuildable but lost that and now she has a Riva 1100 and a CE5 rebuildable and is happy as anything although she makes me clean and rebuild it. That might work. Are they reliable and not too big - plus no leaks ?

It's not so much the stealth-vaping, it's the fiddling around. The Riva battery is fine but it's more the top piece that she doesn't like, all the dripping into the cartos and so on, that's what would cause the problems. If she could just set something up in the morning, have it in her handbag with no leaks, then that's really what she's after. I think clearomisers/tanks are maybe the answer, but there is just so much choice.
(She only smokes about 3-4 ciggies during the day, maybe another 10 when she's at home).
