My first post here 3 weeks ago was asking to recommend me juices and most recommended that I buy a menthol flavour. I was adamant that I detested menthol due to a bad experience with Consulate's and Whiskey when I was a teenager. Well I had a couple of samples of menthol, tried them and actually liked them. Now they are both gone and I'm actually missing my daily Menthol hit. Sitting here right now wishing I still had some left, even sniffing the carto they were in. I do have some on order though so hopefully my menthol withdrawals will be quelled within the coming days. You were all right, I was wrong....I don't often admit that. Told you (happy now mybad )

At times like this I wish I wasn't such a contrary bugger. If everyone else likes something, I normally hate it. But my resistance to GVC is weakening with all these reports that I keep reading. Oh, it's horrible, you wouldn't like it at ALL. All the more for meeeeeeeee!

I never used to clean out my cartos or clearos and having recently rebuilt a few, the crap that built up on the coil is amazing. The wire looks like a piece of blackened crud.
If I could turn the clock to when I started I wish I'd kept them clean on a much more regular schedule (as advised), because all of my stuff looked dark brown and tasted bad in hindsight.

I've only got my original eGo kit, plus a couple of Spinners, but a lot juice (most of which I don't use). Only last night I trawled around looking for the best prices on a Vamo, batteries, charger etc because everyone is raving about it and I thought I must be missing out. Came to a figure and put that in the spreadsheet as if I'd already ordered, and watched that net figure drop dramatically... it was enough to put me off and sleep on it. Today, and being sober again, I realised I didn't need it, what I'd got was enough to satisfy me, for the time being at least. I could've written that post. Been there a few times after a few glasses of vino and reading about these shiny bits and pieces, thinking i'm missing out somehow then the next day realise I've been vaping quite happily all evening whilst browsing the web and didn't actually need it.

Ive just had a good look at my bank balance and it seems to be dropping like a stone, the amount of money im spending each month is phenominal , and its all because ive quit smoking and turned to vape, its like a drug, I keep getting pulled into buying things all the time , so what im thinking of doing is quiting the fomum side of the vape scene as its costing me to much , its not breaking me its just too expensive when you keep seeing things and then you thnk i'll try one of them. its taking over my life and I personaly think its time to stop. That's a shame Bomber. People do say that smokers have that addictive personality though. Maybe you've just replaced the baccy with another addiction? All the best whatever you decide to do. I've been lucky to some extent because I'm as tight as a gnat's chuff and refuse to buy anything unless it serves a purpose or I can't make it myself much cheaper. I've been vaping 2 months and I broke even about a week ago. I still have a stack of liquid, now know how to rebuild clearos and I'm getting into DIY mixing which means I don't really need much new stuff. I think it's my Yorkshire genetics

I've finally got it sorted with 0.2mm Kanthal. (My confusion all stemmed from the US videos where they use 0.3 AWG rather than metric ) Anyway, they rewick quite easy. 4 or 5 wraps of the 0.2, a wick made from either 2mm silica or 3.5 silica and then a couple of offcuts on the top. They are a bit of a sod with that little bung that everyone mentions but I found once you've done 2 or 3, you can get it in quite easy with needle pliers and a pair of long-nosed crimpers to do the final push in. These T3s are better rebuilt than when they come new in my opinion. No leaks and a lovely taste.

For coiling t3s & vivi novas, 0.16 is even better! I'll probably get a bit of both. I might actually try some 0.25 as now i've got the winding 'mastered' I reckon I could rebuild a quite nice 1.8 ohm coil with about 6 wraps.
