OK Tom. Thanks for the advice. I'm not going to go 'roaring in' and start accusing anyone, sometimes you get a dodgy unit and these things happen. I just wanted to see if it was within the normal parameters. Cheers.

I think I'll do that Tom. But, to clarify, a 1100mah should last longer than 4 hours at a vape of 5-6 toots every 30 minutes ? I don't want to kick up a big fuss if that's the normal duration.

What size batts are you on? Even if its the smaller 650s that still seems pretty low. Are you using the original plug and USB? I had some problems using the proper USB but with an apple wall plug. Only getting a few hours use. I now only use the original wall plug and I get pretty much all day from the 900s. They're the 1100mah's, genuine Joyetech with a Joyetech charger. This is why I'm started to get hacked off and wonder if I'm doing something wrong, because my Riva's last easily for a full day, yet the Twists only seem to go for half the time - even though I have them on 3.8-4.0volts (and I'm not a chain-vaper). I sort of assumed/thought that these would go for a good 10 hours vaping, but so far it's nowhere near that.

Do Ego Twists have some sort of double phase charging ?
I left one plugged in when I went into town and it was green on the charger and I was ina rush so didn't disconnect it, but when I got back about an hour or so later, it had gone to red and it stayed on that for about another hour.
I have a problem with these batteries holding charge, my Rivas seem to be much better and I can accept that they have more output, but to be honest, most of the time I use them at 3.8-4.0 so it's not like I hammer them at 4.8V.
I just wonder if they need charging differently, cos I only get about 4 hours out of them.

Cheers Bomber. IT's just that craving you can't scratch if you know what I mean. It'll pass, and I know that the tabs will taste like crap so I'll just chain vape some baccy flavours.
I had about 3 drags earlier and had to go brush my teeth it tasted so bad.

Hi Browzer.
Which bit of e-cigs is confusing you mate because you can keep it simple without worrying about the details ?

I don't want to recommend stuff too much - I was a bit too eager there. But I loved the taste when I first got it on day one and it just tastes lovely. Really coconut flavoured.
(I'll be honest, I'm fighting going out for a tab - Friday night, few beers, this is my "problem time" for cravings)

Good luck Sooetie.
We're all in the same boat. Help each other out if we can - even if that sounds daft having someone to just ramble on who's going thru the same thing makes this place invaluable.

I can't say what you might like (you've heard that before right?) but I think it's boss.
Just perfect for this time of night. Dunno if I could vape it all day cos it does have some sweetness. Definitely a flavour I keep coming back to. Def worth a try.

Ere Lozzy. Got myself some Strawberry Champagne. It's pretty nice. Bit thin on TH, but nice taste. Good shout on that.

No question is too daft to ask DocJelly. Best to get advice rather than let it go unanswered. (Soz if that sounds patronising, but I think it's best to just dive in).
The clearos you'll got [Vision ego's] with the Riva kit are not rebuildable (I have the same kit and have searched high and low on how to rebuild them), but they will last through a lot of refills (they can be cleaned out), so you can put a fair few juices through them, but they could die on you - generally not die immediately but that is a possibility.
I think the clearo v Carto debate is covered above in terms of which is best, but you can get clearo's that are rebuildable whereas carto's are always "single" use. That "single" use can be anything from a few days to a few weeks.

Hi Ronnie.
Are you dragging on it like a fag ? The best advice I got was to fire up the vape for 1 second, take a 3-4 second draw like you're sucking a milkshake straw, real slow like, then let it sit in your mouth. At that point, you don't even have to inhale, just let it roll around then blow out.
I'm not professing to be an expert or anything, just saying that I found I got a razor-blade throat from trying to get it down my neck for the first week or so, then found that technique much more pleasant.

Hi Yidders ! I did the same thing on my clearomiser I'd never smoked a Menthol ciggie in all my years of smoking, yet it's amazing how they're fast becoming my 'go to' vape. It really cuts through my knackered taste buds, definitely worthwhile for people starting out in vaping. There sounds some great suggestions on here to try. Hope you find one that works.
