I received my Vamo last week and love it.
It works well with my vivi nova but I also bought a Igo-L rebuildable dripping atomiser which seems to enhance the flavours.
It is too big to take out and about so I still use my rivas but when I'm home I'm in vaping heaven. Good tip from Dave about needing a 510 to eGo adaptor for connecting clearomizers. Luckily I bought an adaptor for my lavatube which now just sits there doing nothing.

Hi Johnny welcome and congratulations for quiting smoking. I also started on elites before finding this forum, then bought a Riva kit looking for a stronger nicotine hit and was amazed with the difference! Good to hear you have converted some fellow smokers already.

Welcome Mrmshaw. Ive only been vaping 3 weeks and also ordered the riva kit. I have ordered 14 different tobacco flavours from a number of vendors and Grizwalds Black Cat is my current favourite, not really like a cigarette taste as it has a subtle liquorice after taste but it has great flavour and throat hit. The nearest I have found to cigarette taste is Paradise Vapes Royals, nice vape without any real food flavouring after taste. However, I bought a iGo-L Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer a few days ago and am revisiting all my samples as it seems to bring out the flavours more. Good luck with your search.

Just back from Tenerife last night and succesfully stealth vaped in my seat going and coming back in the plane. I was using a riva 1100 and Grizwalds Black Cat so there wasnt a massive amount of vapour. It has been the most relaxing flights I have had because besides the stealth vapes I was happily vaping away in Glasgow and Tenerife Airports right up to boarding so didnt have that early check in 'no where to smoke' feeling. I also spoke to many tourists in Tenerife who wondered what I was using, not sure if I converted any but they all said they would try it when they returned home. I also never had a problem vaping away in the many different bars I visited in Los Cristianos and Las Americas.

I have been enjoying them, keep up the good work! One of the many reviews I watched that convinced me to buy a Vamo. Just waiting on the slow mail from China! Next on the shopping list is a drip atty - too much choice.

Great result and good you have a nice boss! Read your post and asked my Manager if I can vape at my desk. He did not see any problem but said he needs to check with HR first. He also queried if the vapour would set off the fire alarm. They banned toasters in my work because they kept setting them off. Hope with this bad weather the answer is yes but in the summer I might slum it with the smokers for that skiving from work suntan.

Welcome Mira, from a fellow Glasgow Newbie.
Very helpful forum here. My colleague saw my kit today and ordered the same - only had it in white or pink though. Wish I'd come on here today for alternatives.
I needed a long life battery as well and got the riva 1100 kit which comes with 2 batteries. Loving it so far, and since I set it up yesterday morning I have forgotten about my roll ups - great feeling this morning not running about looking for papers, filters and a lighter!!! I also ordered 10 different flavour sample bottles but think I've knacked my taste buds by trying them all. Got a favourite though so will probably buy larger quantity of that and see how it goes.

I must have been living in a bubble, I had seen the cigarette lookalikes but never knew about the kits, e liquid etc.

Hi, I've never needed to post before as all my questions had already been asked and answered here in the new members area. Great forum I tried e-lites a few weeks ago but still found myself still craving roll ups. Following the advice i read here about buying a kit, my Riva 1100 arrived this morning - It is amazing! The 5 sample bottles of e liquid i ordered just dont seem enough and i want to try every flavour. I was wondering if there are any shops in Glasgow area that sells the liquid? The service from vape escape is very fast but just in case I run low it would be good to have a backup shop. Nearest I could find is in Edinburgh - Vaping Emporium. |
