Ian's right - on an eGo or Tornado at 3.3 volts, they're fine - and they're OK, if a little on the warm side, at 3.7 volts. Above that, they're a burn-fest looking for somewhere to happen.

Avoid the magnets like the plague - stick to the springs - much more reliable. (man with one of each in use right this minute and hunting for the switch spring speaks out)

Thanks all, the wife's struggling a bit now. She's going through batteries really quick. I can't keep up with her! Super-minis? The batteries are terribly small. is why you need three on charge at all times. I used to get through at least ten 084 batteries a day, and now it's two 18650s and 10ml of juice...

It's exactly that, Lee - the steering committee needs to be set up to actually form the association and begin getting members to sign up - and it's from the members that the working committee will be elected.
It's been suggested that the steering committee be formed of sort of "forum reps" or similar, which seems as good a way as any - at least folks will be actually achieving something and getting the ball rolling properly.

Hey - as I recall, you had zero problems at all - bang on, in fact. In, on, no bother. And a skype veteran now, I'd say... a natural!!

We should add that AllAbout needs to get a couple of folks sorted as kind of "reps" to put themselves forward for election to the steering committee - without which nothing will happen. It's a not a lifetime commitment - the steering committee will be in place just long enough to get proper committee members elected and set up the association. Might be a month, might be three... and that's it. If you fancy it, let Perpetua know!!! You'll need a propoer and a seconder. And that's about it.
