Yes the battery work fine on my other one, co I have 2 batteries and 1 clearo. In the startapack there are 2 units and a pack of atomisers, so I am OK vaping away with what I have at the moment but wondered if ther was something I could do with he faulty. I have had a couple of ideas off this site so I will have a look later Thanks So, if we've got you correctly, you have 1 clearo, that works on both batteries, and 1 clearo that works on neither battery? You say you've replaced the atomiser head in the faulty clearo? If,yes to both of the above, I think the only thing that could be wrong with an evod, is that it is not fully screwed together properly. Do you have access to a multimeter to test,the resistance of the clearo and replacement head? As hijack said, not a lot can go wrong really! Try dismantlingmthe clearo, and rebuild it carefully. |

Do you have a different battery to try? Do you have a different clearo to try? You say the battery is working fine - is that because the light comes on when you press the button? Do you have any way to test the output from the battery? I say this, because one of my original batteries, the +be wire detached itself from the centre pin, inside the battery. Also, has the jolt of the drop pushed the battery centre pin in slightly?  to the forum and congratulations on your first week! |

As you've got ribbon, try a rip-trippers tin-man coil?
I personally use .2 kanthal, 2 strands, 4 wraps micro coil round a 2.5mm mandrel.

Id get yourself something to test your rebuild resistance before worrying about testing voltage.
You really shouldn't be putting anything on a mech mod without testing the resistance beforehand!

If you only want 10m of wire, maybe its good.  Vapemesh do 100m for 9.50 (Inc vat) As charon said, vapemesh always do offers like 5 for 4, plus they send a free spool. And they do mesh and other wicking materials. And they're about to do titanium wire. And, I think most importantly, they're tried and tested. |

License? Ejuice will be restricted to 20mg in 10ml bottles. I think attys/tanks will be restricted to 2ml. China will always sell stuff The regulations,WILL be contested, if they don't get thrown out/changed. |

The tpd has set down a 20mg limit and a 10ml bottle. 4mg was just that - a propasal and it got rejected, with 20mg in its place, which science is now proving to be too low as well! ps- most of us here are EX-smokers |

To be fair,
Sounds like it could have potential to find good combinations, but it wont find bad ones -like custard - ones that need to steep.
A good test will probably be good. A bad test could also be good.
(Was originally going to say it sounds like a rubbish idea, but it could have legs, I suppose?)

More surface area of wire in contact with the wick, for same resistance coil. = more vapour
Premade NR-R? Not sure, but at a guess, probably not?

My recommendation for the first place to start tinkering - recoil your heads yourself. Very easy, very cheap, and a much better vape with a micro coil and cotton!
