I use 2mm 7 X 19 rope with a 400 mesh wrap and Kanthal 20, but only from the point where the rope exits the tank.
I will have to give the full length mesh a go next time I recoil ...

I got a little bit bored this afternoon so thought what the hell and re wicked and coiled an rsst and a ud agi using silica instead of mesh, purely as an experiment. Used 2mm silica and kanthal ribbon, the difference is beyond belief. Flavour is hugely enhanced, vapour production is enormous, the flavour is really strong and the throat hit is such that I have coughed a couple of times. Iam absolutely amazed at the improvement. Anyone else tried this and found similar results? I have tried it but with 20 kanthal wire in the RSST, Pretty much the same result as yourself. The only wicks that I have tried with such good results are SS wires with a single mesh wrap. Again 2mm but 7X14 not 7X7 (got it off a mate in an MOD workshop, so don't ask me where to get it) WB

Okay so I bit the bullet ... Got some Perfume Apprentice flavours ...used the ejuice calculator ... Oh and read the instructions I mixed at 20% concentrate (Caramel / Cappuccino) 65/55 PG/VG @18mg ... steeped ... steeped ... 18 days later the smell is there but I am lacking in (the only way I can describe it is) 'depth' the same with the Black Cherry ... same ratios etc.
I know my taste buds are shot (too many years of Marlboro, Gauloises and very strong black coffee) but the blurb and reviews all said how strong these concentrates were.
Am I missing something or do I just increase the concentrate % to compensate for my mouth?
Help!!

Repeatable? I guess so, but I would change a few things I think, There is no thread for the Ego folks and having to make a battery tube rather than hacking a Mod (albeit a cheap one) + finding nice wood (that would be the interesting part). The photos don't do it justice, there is real depth in the grain but it was straight off the lathe and waxed. I could have spent a bit of time sanding and oiling then buffing ... but seeing as it was just something I wanted NOW and did not want to wait for it I am happy. (Good paperweight as well!!)

Haha, love it! Would also come in handy if you ever need to defend yourself, it's a weapon! True, about the size of a grenade as well !!

Okay so I have a Vamo, I like my Vamo, However I am getting just a little ticked off with the up/down buttons!! I grab it and ...Oh bugger!! I'm vaping at 14 W and my poor EVOD does not like it and nor do I for that matter!!
Creative solutions please that do not involve inserting it into orifices or chucking it into the bin. I have a Sig 19b that I use but I do like the flexibility the Vamo gives.
I am up for ripping it apart and stuffing the guts into something else perhaps ...

Don't get me wrong! Compared to the amount of fags I have crushed/trashed/lost over the years (I once took part in a Beach Assault forgetting I had stowed 200 Marlboro in my kit. The sea water got into 80% of the packets!! Gutted and fagless for 36 hrs!!!) the cost is minimal.
I will mix and match the parts and have no doubt will end up with a few useable ones. What really annoyed me was the loss of so much of my favorite Juice!! I have been mixing my own (Shhh don't tell the Chefs) but have not come close to their recipe, at least their income is assured for a bit longer.
Onwards and Upwards!!

I know, bloody stupid of me, but I ordered a pack of 10 EVOD's for can't remember but it was not all that much. Results??? A pile of extra washing and a heap of bits I may or may not be able to use as spare parts.
I think I must have been sent a Friday afternoon (if they have such a thing) job lot. Over 50% leak!! The machining of the threads is horrendous to say the least, 2 of them (Pink and White) would not even screw down enough to give (what are laughably called O rings) an even chance of doing what O rings are supposed to do!!
I put each of the heads on the Vamo and found readings varying from 1.4 to an amazing 4.7 Ohms.
What annoys me the most though is the loss of quite a bit of my favorite Juice (Chefs Vapours Caramel Cappuccino) into my pocket all over my desk and the Centre Console of the car.
Will I send them back? No of course not ... Just not worth the hassle, but it will be a cold day in hell before I order from them again!!
