Just to give all you helpful people an update, my new rsst arrived from fast tech and it screws onto the Magneto perfectly so I guess that answers the question, the threads where too shallow on the 1st rsst I'm now have a lovely no gap rsst and Magneto. Put the first coil in it tonight came out at 1.9ohms so not too bad think I did 4 wraps of 0.2 kanthal so next time I'll try 3 and see where that leaves me. Also used a little extra 500 mesh so I guess that would account for a bit extra too.

What mods have you tried it on? If you look at a Magneto for example there are channels that all air into the base of the atty. A Vamo doesn't (that I can see) Not sure if that helps or not

Wait until you try the caramel toffee robby, its one of the best I have tried and if you like your fruity flavours, forest fruits aint to bad neither, although flavourarts forest fruits is in a different league, there blackcurrent is also very nice to! This is my opinion of course Have you got a link for the blackcurrent please I can't find it on the FA site. I'm thinking of trying the diy route but want a b/c as this is my all day vape

Hi ginge7289 I have a 30ml bottle of gvc sitting here that I'm not going to use (it's 18mg) I've had it for a couple of months so It's well steeped. Had prob 1 full tank out of it I've check post costs and it £3 for small parcel 1st class. So would £13 work for you (Inc postage) or swap you for something else I seem to like fruity at the mo. Or something minty Pm me if interested Wasn't planning on getting rid but happy to help a fellow vaper in need!

That's an incredibly saving, out of interest I just calculated my savings and I work it out to be about £2,500. That's from quitting 19 months ago and I was smoking 15 a day! I possibly over estimated what I have spent on consumables so it could be more. Why oh why didn't I do this sooner! :-D

Hi gary Horder. I have recoiled protank heads loads and have one rsst to my name. I would happily recoil your protanks if you want me to have a go. Question is what ohms do would you want the coil and what material for the wick. My best is silica but I've managed 1 cotton wool one! My silica normally comes out between 1.8 and 2.1 ohms. But my gromit thingy does get a bit charred! I've never coiled for anyone else but pm me to discuss if you want.

Hi jordan I did my first micro coil with cotton on my protank 1 yesterday think I did 7-9 wraps of 0.2 using a small screw driver to wrap round, the I fed the cotton through after twisting the end a bit. Currently showing 3.1ohms on my Vamo, it started on 2.6 but went up as I used it but has stayed there now. It's higher than I wanted but waiting on a delivery of 0.3 and decided to try. Tonnes of vapour, flavour is good. It was a little more fiddly than my normal double silica and 4-5 wraps buildbut I'm enjoying it:-) I used cotton wool balls to make the wick.

there is always the fogger from fast tech at about £26. This is a clone of the Taifun GT, but it looks pretty good. Again it's a nonres-res-nonres build which is holding me back at the mo as haven't played with these yet! And regarding mesh, I made my first build two weeks ago and it was pretty simple, the only time consuming part for me was pulsing the coils on the mesh but was easy. You simply cut it, roll it and put it in and then coil it.

Hi JayJ I was just making the walk comment as a general note, from what I have seen on various threads you are doing fine and approaching everything in the correct way. I have to admit the Magneto was due to a bit of shinyitis on my part but wanted to try coils at lower ohms so was a great excuse. I only found this forum a couple of months ago have having been vaping for 20 odd months now and I have learnt more since then than I did before and it gives you confidence as if it doesn't work someone on here will be able to advise why. I hope you like your Max when you get the batteries sorted I'm tempted but the Vamo does me proud at the mo!
